Not sure if I ever ate a blueberry (led a sheltered life I know, I am realising more weekly lol) but blueberry gum and drinks were nice as a kid. I worked in a grocers once and if we wore a band aid it had to be blue, in case it fell off in the veggies it could be easily spotted because nothing else was blue coloured. Random and probably irrelevant info but it might be why blue food is a no-no for me. Somebody mentioned lemon meringue pie 🥧 too +1 for that but it's a pie by name only, it doesn't had a top, not that I'm a pie prude or purist or anything

2025-02-01 01:07:59 +0000 UTCThose fifa sessions musta been wild then 🤣

2025-02-01 00:57:57 +0000 UTCHahaha, no joke, I misunderstood! 🤣 And blueberry pie seems to be popular as well 🤪

2025-01-31 23:21:55 +0000 UTCHahhahaa, horrible decorating choice! I only approve a small strip for cats to climb or play on 🤪

2025-01-31 23:20:30 +0000 UTCHahaha, I was actually wrong with my D assumption 🤣🤣

2025-01-31 23:15:26 +0000 UTCInteresting... this comment made me hungry 🤣

2025-01-31 23:14:47 +0000 UTCOh, are you scared of them? Or just don't like them? What if they had on hats?

2025-01-31 23:14:17 +0000 UTCThank you David 🙌🏻✨️

2025-01-31 23:13:37 +0000 UTCHahahaha, Ross is.... a bit much 😅
Mandy Cane Lane
2025-01-31 23:13:15 +0000 UTCI agree with you on the Friends couples Mandy. Rachel and Joey would work. Ross and Rachel not so much. TBH it's hard to imagine the Ross character being endured by anyone :)

2025-01-28 22:27:16 +0000 UTCHello Hello Lovely Mandy of Cane Lane, you look Fab here that Shade of Lipstick is really working for you. x

2025-01-26 19:41:00 +0000 UTCHey Mandy, thanks for another great one—as (almost) always! :) I’ve finally found a subject where we’re really different: snakes.

2025-01-26 11:58:37 +0000 UTCAs an Australian if someone says pie I assume it's a meat or savoury pie, we would say the full name "apple pie" otherwise we'd assume meat, I'd imagine it's similar for the UK. Fruit pies are so so to me, but I do like lemon meringue pie a lot 😊
Krista
2025-01-26 10:02:28 +0000 UTCAww, well then body warmers for snakes? :) and yes definitely not how wallpaper should be, it is common in the UK but it's never what you've described. Also to be clear that link is private (to anyone on here anyway) my protonmail drive. I uploaded that, it's not just a random link I found.

2025-01-26 01:44:46 +0000 UTCThanks for specifically the dick Manders I genuinely thought they were talking about the diaphragm And New York is just disgusting in my opinion, I hate crowds I'm terrified of rats and smack heads with guns and knives Spliff is a joint with tobacco I think or just another word for joint (the word is used very commonly)
Remi
2025-01-26 00:39:14 +0000 UTCYou hate carpet in the bathroom and wallpaper what about carpet as wallpaper, ( I strongly agree by the way) because I remember my grandfathers Friend had a bathroom wallpapered with a beige carpet (i hope that was it's original colour) and it was the ugliest fucking thing I have ever seen and it absolutely stunk damp and earthy
Remi
2025-01-26 00:32:54 +0000 UTCWith you on the cities but fir different reasons. They're too busy for me. Can't think of many sweet pies besides the obvious apple or cherry, we tend to make flans and tarts which are pretty much the same without a top layer
.
2025-01-26 00:17:41 +0000 UTCNo-one in the D means you can't go inside the keeper's area, which is a D shape often painted on a 5-a-side pitch. The location they used to shoot the scene didn't have one painted though. No-one in the dick would also certainly be illegal, but is already a regular rule anyways and I feel he wouldn't need to specify it. But then, I've heard South American fútbol can be pretty wild so it might be played slightly different over there. 🤔 Or perhaps your joke went right over my head.

2025-01-26 00:13:31 +0000 UTCTo be fair, if they were going to the Quantock Hills, that's nearly a 250km train ride from London (it goes via Bristol so not very direct).

2025-01-25 22:48:59 +0000 UTCHaha, love the rhyme 🤣
Mandy Cane Lane
2025-01-25 22:47:43 +0000 UTCLol, I do not hate those I am "taught to hate" .. Also Irreverend, you must google "snakes in hats" right now! You won't regret it! 🤣 - Thank you for the link, and you are correct! That is NOT how wallpaper should be applied 😭
Mandy Cane Lane
2025-01-25 22:47:24 +0000 UTCThat is insane. For context people here complain the train is too expensive when the more expensive ticket to move 24km is about £0.27 🤦🏻♀️
Mandy Cane Lane
2025-01-25 22:41:14 +0000 UTCDelicious, but smaller than a normal pi... OK, I'll stop now... I'll get me coat...

2025-01-25 22:40:41 +0000 UTCI guess 🤣🤣

2025-01-25 22:38:41 +0000 UTCAre you travelling with someone Stuart? Maybe just focus on the company? Or google up parks, shops or restaurants you would want to visit. 😅

2025-01-25 22:38:23 +0000 UTCOMG that is hilarious Tony!
Mandy Cane Lane
2025-01-25 22:37:02 +0000 UTCHmmm... I have never been a fruit pie fan, so I have rarely seen them 🤣🤣

2025-01-25 22:35:56 +0000 UTCNo worries Tony! I have found a replacement! Will get to it soon 🤗✨️
Mandy Cane Lane
2025-01-25 22:34:24 +0000 UTCLol! Right? Living in a city and travelling to see other cities is silly to me. Live in a city? Travel to things you don't see often then! Lakes, mountains, hills, beaches, forests, etc 🤪

2025-01-25 22:30:02 +0000 UTCHaha, no worries! All very informative! I appreciate the help, but I will not remember the poisonous thing 😅. Just one of those things that doesn't stick. 😬 And about the fires, most of L.A. has been on fire for several days now 😥
Mandy Cane Lane
2025-01-25 22:29:30 +0000 UTCThank YOU Steve! 🤗✨️

2025-01-25 22:25:04 +0000 UTCLol, very true! I like pidgeons, and rats too. 🤭

2025-01-25 22:23:52 +0000 UTCWe don't need New York to pay through the nose for a closet for 2 grand a month - we have London for that sort of thing (tho NY is actually more expensive than London)... And London has pigeons/flying-rats too - and urban foxes, screeching like mad banshees in the middle of the night during mating season (i.e. now...). The Quantocks (the Quantock Hills) is a heathland area in Somerset (a 3 hour / 240km train journey west of London) - but I don't know if that is where they went to on the train - I didn't catch where Dobbie lives, so I'm just going by the title. Now I think of it, I am heading that way for a mid-week break early in February - should be fun, as long as the rain f's off (unlikely, but there are plenty of country pubs...). "Pie" would generally be prefixed by the ingredient: pork pie (which is a specific kind of pie on its own), steak and ale pie, chicken and mushroom pie, apple pie, blackberry pie, square root of pi, etc. If someone asked you if you fancied a pie, context would tell you which type of pie: savoury or fruit.
BobSandwiches
2025-01-25 20:38:42 +0000 UTCThey definitely have pigeons in NYC, because on the way to Central Perk Phoebe saw a drunk guy throw up and a pigeon ate it 😁 London is packed with pigeons too, they're like rat with wings.

2025-01-25 19:25:36 +0000 UTCExcellent as always. Thanks, Mandy. 🤗🤗

2025-01-25 18:46:27 +0000 UTCI just say this title and immediately though "Quantucky Fried Chicken" 😂. I swear Jez never takes that jacket off. I'm like Mark, football, never for me. Took me till 15 to learn what offside is. Rugby tho, I can do that. 👌 "Dickhead is a term of endearment" 😂 truer words never spoken, it's the C word in our house. Venom - it bite you. U die. Poison - you bite it. U die. You were basically there: 'Nobody bites, everybody lives'👌 I'm surprised you don't know how to sew, or do you mean you haven't really done it much? (don't worry it's as simple as it looks); knitting I can understand, I learnt it once but i found out it requires whay more coordination than it thought. New York, yeah, overrated, especially compared to it's older York counterpart in terms of attractions, crime and beauty. What's this about fires in the valley! 🔥 (...Sounds like a good book actually) 🤗 You're right about the seat handles, they're weird. All seats on busses and trains are designed with similar dense dark patterns to hide dirt...and there is a LOT of dirt. And put it this way, my old job got me up to 50% off certain train tickets and even then it was still more than that in some cases. Sorry, you're eyes are hurting reading this latest dissertation.
Benjamin Taylor-Yates
2025-01-25 18:40:13 +0000 UTCHaha I was going to say the same thing! Mandy got 2 out of 3 correct and I think her rule regarding the “d” should be implemented 🤣
AWR93
2025-01-25 18:12:00 +0000 UTCAlthough your explanation of the sliding rule and the head height rules were spot on, your example of no one in the d was slightly off haha. Although it is a good idea to not hit in the dick, it actually means you’re not allowed in the keepers area, unless you’re the goalkeeper 🐸
Doctor Frog
2025-01-25 17:46:22 +0000 UTCCrazy there’s only 1 season left 😮 also loved that you explained the football rules 99% accurately haha! I imagine with your sliding on fifa you kept getting yellow/red cards 😂 Regarding your New York question, I mean it looks good in pictures but I can imagine it’s probably 95% the same as any other big city (London, Paris, Buenos Aires). As a Londoner who has never been out of Europe, but I don’t think New York would be top of my list to visit.
AWR93
2025-01-25 17:33:13 +0000 UTCI'm so sorry Mandy, did I provide that Blackadder file? I checked my files and indeed, that one is mute. I must have never watched it via the file. I have it on DVD. I'll see if I can get you a replacement.
Tony Mingoia
2025-01-25 16:51:04 +0000 UTCDid you know that the Japanese embassy in Paris has a 24-hour hotline for its citizens visiting Paris, and suffering from what is called "Paris Syndrome", a severe culture shock and, I quote; "The effects of Paris failing to live up to romantic expectations". The syndrome is often so bad that the physical effects require immediate repatriation. 😅
Tony Mingoia
2025-01-25 16:33:03 +0000 UTCYes it is a bit of a joke that I can fly to Spain for less than it costs me on a train from Manchester to London.
Stuart
2025-01-25 15:01:34 +0000 UTCYou would rarely use the word pie on its own. The type of pie would usually be in the sentence. Unless both people in the conversation already know what type of pie it is. Or it might be obvious by looking at it. Also, whenever I think of pie I would never be thinking about people making them at home. I would only be thinking about ones you buy in shops or restaurants. And they look different, you wouldn’t mistake an apple pie for a steak pie.

2025-01-25 14:52:48 +0000 UTCBeen to New York and to me it's just a city, . I think people like the idea because they have seen it in films, I have recently made a promise to go to Paris this year and don't really want to go, because I know it will be like London, busy and full of tourist traps. I would recommend Rome though.
Stuart
2025-01-25 14:42:45 +0000 UTCI think Jez experiences love a little differently from us normal, non-narcissist people. Bless him.. I guess

2025-01-25 13:49:20 +0000 UTCThe video features Margaret Thatcher in the very first minute. As a citizen of Argentina, MCL (Mandy Cane Lane) is required to hate this.

2025-01-25 13:34:11 +0000 UTCTrain fares have gone up a lot here too since this. That's privatisation for you. I'm guessing that train is an InterCity so there aren't really other stops on the way, otherwise it wouldn't be that much to the next station.

2025-01-25 13:33:51 +0000 UTCLOL Mandy being introduced to the British Railway Racket. Back in the day our trains were nationalized and run by the government, but ever since our rail services were privatized and a bunch of different companies took over, its been a slow decline into absolutely disgustingly inflated prices for rail travel. Utterly disgusting really.

2025-01-25 13:27:42 +0000 UTCNew York to me might as well be London, and no thanks to either of those. I don't know why people visit the UK and head straight to London either.

2025-01-25 13:12:25 +0000 UTCThat really really isn't how wallpaper should be done, I think that might be your problem more than the wallpaper itself :) The wallpaper paste should be antifungal too which helps prevent mould. Never heard of anyone plastering over wallpaper before, you strip the wallpaper
