It also makes me feel nauseous to be out in the sun for longer than like an hour if it’s hot so maybe it’s a genetic thing? The question Judi asked that you didn’t understand was if the guy shared a name with a Royal, which to be fair sounded like “roll”, which was how you heard it!

2024-12-24 21:11:09 +0000 UTC24-ish is perfect if you're sitting around. But it'll kill me in 10 minutes if I'm doing anything active. The heat isn't so much the problem it's the humidity and struggling to breathe which I hate. Oh and then working with the PC switched on on top of that - then hotter days can be a nightmare. Got the central heating on or at least a warm sweater around 18 usually, anything lower and I feel chilly. It tends to get better as summer goes on and your body adjusts, we just get such short blasts of summer here sometimes that we can't cope 😭 Another great episode, this cast are killing it. And it's been a real christmas treat to see you so happy lately too! Also so infectious too and long may it continue. 🤗

It sounded like he said "I support Liverpool Football Club, I'm a die hard fan." but he actually said "I support Liverpool Football Club. I'm a Die Hard fan." Two distinct facts, telling us which football team (or soccer team as an American would say) and film (or motion picture as an American would say) he likes most of all. He then went on to say what sounded like "Here are some things I don't like; omelettes, orchids..." but he quickly clarified that he was actually saying "Here are some things I don't like; omelettes or kids." Two distinct things that he does not like. Very clever, very humourous (or humorous as an American would say).

2024-12-24 19:05:43 +0000 UTCI think for a lot of us in the UK it's not really the temperature outside that makes us moan (although we love a good moan about the weather :D ) but how hot it makes the inside of our houses at night. Having any air conditioning is rare here and our buildings are all designed to trap heat inside so a hot day will mean a unbearably hot night and not much sleep. My house generally takes about a week to return to a normal temperature after a hot day.

2024-12-24 18:27:53 +0000 UTCFor me, 15-18° is ideal for sleeping. 18-22° is ideal for the gym. 22-28° is ideal for being outside. 25° is right in the middle of that and perfect. 28-32° is hot, but tolerable. 32-38° is too hot. 38°+ is hell. I was in Sicily once when it was 48°. 😳

2024-12-24 16:31:07 +0000 UTCI grew up in South Africa so for me also 25 degrees is not that hot, but I live in Scotland now so everyone freaks out when it gets above 20. The buildings are genuinely not made for heat though, in the UK, the buildings retain all heat. But I grew up used to christmas being bloody hot, so I spent alot of christmasses in the pool.
