I am not sure if I say this enough, but my love for Alex Horne as a comedian runs deep. He truly is amazing at his job and is naturally delightful to watch.

And if you don't like the idea of the tea cakes with jam.. at this time of year they do a variety of them without the jam and biscuit called "snowballs". Soft sticky marshmallow in thin chocolate with small shavings of coconut on the top. not the yucky dry type of coconut tho its nice. Scrummy af! Can never just eat one of them!!

The final task has some really good outtakes. 😇 The air in the glass can come from the water pressure being too high in the taps. The longer the water sits the micro ghosts.. i mean bubbles collect together and some cling to the side of the glass.

It doesn't just trick your brain - it comes from a "tongue twister" type of rhyme thing where you repeat a line and try to get faster each time the more often you repeat it you're more likely to screw up and mix up some letters. Like trying to repeat "Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry" several times without saying "Lolly" by mistake 🙂 The line goes.. "I'm not a pheasant plucker I'm a pheasant plucker's son and I'm only plucking pheasants til the pheasant plucker comes." So Sophie was totally on point in the prize task. Also the Cupid Stunt one comes from the Kenny Everett sketch show, it was the name of one of his characters.

IT'S FRICKEN CHEATING!! NULL POIS!! Also related, the scoring on this show is such BS anyway it's all fudged I don't care what they say. They are just saying that to keep up the "magic of television" or whatevs. They know who done well and who didn't. they can literally place any tasks in any episodes to make people look good or bad. The only time a task feels legit is on the live finals. I had noticed an occasional issue with audio for a while but I just assumed it was me to be honest. Sometimes when you talk over a video without pausing I can't hear what you'll say because the video is too loud (or you are too low). It doesn't happen all that often tho as you are usually very polite and raise your hand before speaking. 😇😊

But that is the video player's fault, as it always starts on full volume - nothing that Mandikins can do about that. What is important is the relative volumes between the show's volume and Mandy's vocal volume, and I have never noticed any issues there.

Warm water can hold less gas than colder water, so the air condenses out. They stick to the sides (tho larger bubbles rise to the surface) due to sticking to the imperfections in the glass where the bubbles form (technically known as the "nucleation points"). I do not know if you planned to watch Taskmaster from other countries, but it is a good idea to watch season 2 of New Zealand’s version of the show before returning to season 14. The reason is that some of their tasks were so good that they were later used in the original show. It helps that this season is epic. It is comparable to the 5th and 7th seasons of the original.
