Great question!

Hiya Mandy, Hereโ€™s some 2-months-later no-context comments for ya, take it or leave it. Rain eh? Recently, Iโ€™ve been watching the USA Tornado season LIVE stream every night - Ryan Hall Yโ€™all + storm chasers + massive destructive tornadoes. Iโ€™ve never tuned into it before, and wow - we just donโ€™t have weather like that on these green isles ๐ŸŒช๏ธ - when youโ€™re watching a storm chaser live streaming just meters away from a tornado and they pick up a fearful family fleeing the wreckage of their home, itโ€™s terrifying and fascinating at the same time. We watched this unfold live at 3am, and then saw it retold the next day in the news, mad! And before watching this, I thought โ€œsupercellโ€ was just a games publisher that made โ€œClash of Clansโ€ ๐Ÿ˜† Ok, youโ€™ve long forgotten this but I just watched bar tender Charlotte get off the phone to Willโ€™s work experience boss, give Will a verbal dressing down for making shit up about her, throw a drink at him, then storm off with a chirpy โ€œsee you later!โ€. This last bit just doesnโ€™t match the tone of everything else! I dunno whether or not to read anything into that. ๐Ÿค” Youโ€™d think sheโ€™d say โ€œI donโ€™t want to see you againโ€, or โ€œI hope youโ€™re miserableโ€. If that wasnโ€™t just bad improvisation by the actor, it seems like some of that telling off was for show, to get his work experience colleagues off his back. I agree with Neil - it can be a treat, and Iโ€™m glad youโ€™ve long forgotten the context ๐Ÿคฃ There is a quote: โ€œWhen in doubt, leave it outโ€ but thatโ€™s about software design ๐Ÿ˜† I have quite a few questions for you Mandy, none of which are appropriate here ๐Ÿ˜ So Iโ€™ll follow the advice of the above quote ๐Ÿ‘ Thanks G

You too. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ‘ Take time you need for reply at my message. If you want to. Have a good day

I have recently rewatched a few An Idiot Abroads. Love those. Shared one with a friend, but it wasn't much of a hit. Shared Taskmaster with my mom and ex boyfriend, they both had difficulties with the accents. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Yeah, I love learning how stuff works! And skills as a mechanic can transfer to understanding of many things. Shame Will was so closed to it. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Mandy Cane Lane

Hi Stuart! Totally agree. Job does not correlate with intelligence! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Mandy Cane Lane

I am not gonna lie... I got lost with these comments ๐Ÿ˜…

Mandy Cane Lane

Hi Joe! Yeah, that is the show! I have since finished it. I liked it. The bond between the 3 of them is so cute!

Mandy Cane Lane

Oh, she looked way younger ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

Mandy Cane Lane

Ohhh... I didn't really go out that much. Luckily I can't remember, so either it was something so scarring I blocked it out, or nothing bad enough to remember ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Mandy Cane Lane

Much appreciated the non explaining Steve! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿคช

Mandy Cane Lane

HAHAHSHHAHAHA! My schedule is what it is ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Ohhh, that is so interesting! Cool info guys, thank you! ๐Ÿค—โœจ๏ธ

Mandy Cane Lane

Thank you Neil! ๐Ÿฅฐ I like it ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Great reaction Mandy. Sometimes I do wonder if you actually lived a sheltered life. Looooool. Sending all the best wishes across the pond from South London

Charlie Costa

The long wait thing is quite iconic in the tradesman thing, basically go into a store and ask for a long wait and if the guy behind the counter is a joker he will leave you there until you cotton on

Remi Rudkovskaya

He is the real life dad of the actress who plays Carli.

Josh Read

Seems like the other way round would be preferable.

*Whispers* Hey Mandy, you missed the post credit scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idgb186GQpk ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿค—

Quite a few jobs on my own car, I'm fairly confident to do them if I read up on how to do it first. Refurbishing my BMW's VANOS unit was a very satisfactory thing I did on mine. And I also changed the oil filter housing gasket to fix the last oil leak that I had. It's quite satisfying when you do it yourself and you save a lot of money

Rusty Dog

Question for Miss Mandy. Have you ever rewatched anything you've reacted to, or shared anything with someone else? If so, what was it, and if shared, what did they think.

Stevus

One word, TMI!๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜…

Stevus

I almost had the opportunity to do a Mechanic apprenticeship but the guy who offered had a heart attack a couple of weeks later and had to give up his business. I've never really been into cars and wouldn't want to work as a mechanic, but I would have loved that opportunity just to know more about engines and be able to fix my own car.

Stevus

I didn't think hair came with a laundry label. Maybe they should. You know the ones with the symbols. Give Mandy a 3 dot one for ironing, cross for tumble dry. Etc

Benjamin Taylor-Yates

I worked a short stint in a strip club some years back, helping out a neighbour, long story. The girls used to literally use an iron to straighten their hair. I'd sometimes have to help them as it's practically impossible to do yourself.

Stevus

Well that episode must have been an audio-visual treat for you Mandy :-\ I did read that the fish was replaced with a dead one before the damage got done to it. Still not nice to see. I didn't like that scene either. Also, that when the flare was released in the boat, it was done badly and could have harmed Jay quite seriously. I was hoping to see Will try some actual car mechanic work though. I thought he'd try it and actually get to like it. As you say, would have been good experience.

Rusty Dog

Will being so against working in a garage is an example of the class snobbery that still exists in this country. Basically he thinks it is beneath him. In my experience some of the brightest people I've known are working class guys with little education who can work out problems and how things work without being told. Also there are a lot of very dim university educated people in top management jobs, you only have to look at some of our politicians.

Stuart

Thanks for your reaction!

Iโ€™m with Mandy and going to pretend I didnโ€™t see this one ๐Ÿซฃ

Evening Stripeyy. Made me laugh that whole "initiation" thing with the fake shopping list. Blinker fluid, long weight. Best one I heard from one the lads who went to be a brickey: his boss sent him to the shop for all that and a left handed hammer. Shame the boss didn't count on the fact that this brickey apprentice came from scunthorpe so he nicked about ยฃ300 worth of tools from the front of the shop when the bloke disappeared to get the "long weight". When you said "iron flat" your hair I just got an image of exactly that. ๐Ÿ˜‚. Maybe try a lower setting. Hahaha.

Benjamin Taylor-Yates

Having watched your Peep Show reactions I knew there would be moments of this you would find difficult lol. Also Only Murders in the Building is great (the show you mention at the start). Really funny and good chemistry between the 3 of them. Watching the 3rd series at the momentโ€ฆ

Joe D

Hannah was in the year below Simon - so he was 17, she was 16

Jay

What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you when you went out at 17 Mandy? I bet it was not as bad as these guys.

Josh Read

Hi Mandy, the Garage boss, is the same actor who played Dan the bank robber in the I.T Crowd. It was classic when the camera cut to Greg laughing๐Ÿ˜‚. Also, the disco scene was a bit rough๐Ÿ˜. I would explain the few things you didn't get, but I think you would prefer it if I didn't LMAO. Great reaction Mandy, thank you.๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—

Xfm to put you in a good mood followed by Inbetweeners to destroy your soul ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Tee Tee

Will's dad isn't in the show, they got divorced and that's why Will had to move to a public school. We don't see Will's dad until the first movie. I think you will recognise him though (no spoilers)

The title music is Gone Up in Flames by Morning Runner.
