2024-01-03 19:16:02 +0000 UTCI also thought of Bernard and The Genie and nearly mentioned it but didn't because I figured it's too old, Mandy won't remember by next year, I'm probably the only one seeing any resemblance, etc. I remember watching it on telly the year it came out and then again in 2020. It is indeed a classic, much better than this. And it stars Lenny Henry, the man whose framed photo was on the wall in Extras when Cheggers challenged Ricky to name a funny black British comedian.

2023-12-30 06:51:02 +0000 UTCYou totally cracked me up Miss Mandy, I wasn't overly excited by the movie tbh, it wasn't bad, and had some pretty funny moments, but not sure I'd watch it again. As Paul might say β¬οΈ, you definitely add a lot of value. Can I suggest next year, if you want a truly classic british Christmas comedy movie, check out Bernard and the Genie. It's old, but great. Rowan Atkinson has a side role in it but the main 2 characters (Bernard and the genie) are played by Alan Cumming and Lenny Henry respectively. I predict you would love it. Obviously you'll forget about it by then so I'll try to remember to remind you in about 12 months. Yoghurt covered raisins... never thought I'd laugh so much over yoghurt covered raisins. In the Christmas wilty video when Lee made a really bad joke that bombed, you showed so much disdain for his terrible attempt at humour like I've never seen before from you, which was hilarious π and it was kind of like that with the raisins too. πππ There's something a bit odd, or just different maybe, about your energy recently π€, it could just be the season but I'm not so sure. I guess we'll have to wait and see. π π€
