It's weird I don't know what I want you happen here but Gareth you stud ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

12:37 Mandy: โ€œIf you feel your lifeโ€™s a 3 out of 6โ€ฆโ€ ... keep rolling the dice?!

when they give up on their dreams they become machines to serve us food and drink and never learn to think about what couldโ€™ve been

Rikhard Henrik Rodrigues Neto

Ahh cool, thank you Ed! ๐Ÿค—

Mandy Cane Lane

Hey Mandy, lovely reaction. Just wanted to comment on that opening list of placenanes that you'd never heard of at the start of the episode, well most Brits wouldn't know many of them either (except perhaps Reading) and that was the point I think, even when he's talking about expanding his horizons and new opportunities he can't really see past the towns in his immediate area. It's a perfect little opening monologue that sets up his character for the entire episode and beyond.

Ed Still

Ohh, I am looking forward to that one!!! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿค—

Mandy Cane Lane

Lol, it was sad, but the delivery of "she said no" was too good ๐Ÿคฃ

Mandy Cane Lane

Hahhaha, ummm.... just off the top of my head, Angelina Jolie, Olivia Wilde, Keira Knightly, Zoe Kravits and Rihanna

Mandy Cane Lane

Mandy wait till you see Derek, some of Rickyโ€™s best acting that will leave you in tears of laughter and sadness ๐Ÿ˜ข Plus you know about 5 or 6 of the actors pretty well (including a special round headed fella)!๐Ÿ˜…

AWR93

Oof, two emotional gutpunches in a row at the end there... at least you found one of them funny! ๐Ÿ˜† "Just leave the dice alone" ... Tim's right, I play too much D&D ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

Dextrous (Lewis)

Top 5 most beautiful ladies in the world then? Gonna assume Maggie from extras will be on this list ๐Ÿ˜‚

Joshyboiiiiii

That makes sense! Thank you Jason! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿค—

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha, awesome! So glad you enjoyed Rusty! I loved this episode!!! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Mandy Cane Lane

Why only one? Any woman I fancy ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿป

Mandy Cane Lane

Ok, noted! I doubt I can do them both together, but they will definitely be next! And for the movie, shall add that to my list! Thank you!! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿค—

On the subject of Xmas specials, popular mainstream UK comedy shows often had a special commissioned to be shown at Xmas (sorry for stating the obvious). Traditionally, these were Xmas-themed episodes with the characters celebrating, but, around the mid-1980s, Only Fools and Horses had specials that weren't Xmas themed at all, they were just more epic than a normal episode. Since then, it's not uncommon for some "Xmas Specials" to have nothing to do with Xmas apart from being made to be aired on TV over the Xmas holiday period.

Jason Webb

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!!! LOVE IT!!

Mandy Cane Lane

I have other some options! Scared to do a poll now though, lol ๐Ÿ˜…

Mandy Cane Lane

It was a brilliant scene! I love when scenes are written to be real and surprising. Wasn't expecting the comedic delivery of it though! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ

Mandy Cane Lane

Oh, that sounds interesting! ๐Ÿค—

Mandy Cane Lane

Thank you Mark! Between him and Robert Webb on Peep Show I have come to realise no matter how messed up a character is, big, teary eyes will affect me. Lol

Mandy Cane Lane

Oh! The 11 o'clock show! Never heard of it, what time did it air? ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿคช

Mandy Cane Lane

Ahhh! Thank you Lee! ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿค— I have never played this game myself but seen commercials of it ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Mandy Cane Lane

Right? Even being an unlikable character, that was just so sad! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Mandy Cane Lane

Great episode this one. Great amounts of laughs, cringe, awkward, the romance (or not) side, even just down to the looks on peoples faces. This one had the lot. Ricky is a great actor. And perhaps you will see that more so in the slight more serious but also funny series Afterlife. There you will find some sadness too but Ricky still manages to combine serious and funny so damned effortlessly. It's quite the masterpiece - and 'Maggie' is back in that one. So I do hope you do Afterlife next. Loved your reaction on this one, Mandy. And your memory for all things Karl never ceases to amaze me (the pat on the head moment). How you just bring that to mind immediately. Steve was at least on the phone in this episode :) Oggy oggy oggy :) I cannot wait for the Christmas specials! Only cos I know what's coming. And yeah, do the bloopers after the specials. Just to be on the safe side. Keep up the amazing content. Freedom for feet!

Rusty Dog

A late night random question of the day. If you could snog 1 lady person in the world who would it be and why x

Joshyboiiiiii

they are somewhat Christmas'y yeah , they are one episode pretty much sliced into two , it would be good to react to em both after oneanother , but then again there pretty long so i understand if you don't , ALSO** remember the film "brent , life on the road" is a continuation of this focused on brent and i genuinely think its a banger of a movie ! more importantly it doesn't ruin the ending outcome of the office , whatever that may be :P I've heard a few people say it wasn't needed but i strongly disagree! , i reckon the vast majority of people think its a good addition to brent epilogue , have a good day patreon peeps and Mandy ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ‘โœŒ๏ธ

TheHigh

What had he done that you would describe as arseholic (or assholic as an American wouldn't say)?

Jeffrey44

In the years since, Ricky has tried to say that David isn't a bad guy, he's just misguided. I disagree, David is clearly a total arsehole, but WOW do I feel bad for him in these last two episodes! Whenever Ricky makes *that* sad face it makes me sad too ๐Ÿ˜ญ

James Aston

Well in Kerplunk you have to pick a Wicked Wango card to spin the Wheel Of Mayhem to go up the Ladder of Chance. You go past the Mud Hut, through the Rainbow Ring to get to the Golden Monkey, you yank his tail and BOOM! You're in Paradise Pond. (I really hope you get this reference. ๐Ÿ˜†)

JokerDanny

Ricky is a brilliant actor ๐Ÿ‘ great reaction as always Mandy. I would wait until after the specials just to be safe. Have you got anything new in find for when you finish this? Or will you watch another ricky show?

TITAN 1C

Tim and Dawn scene is one of my favorite parts in all of the stuff Ricky and Stephen ever did together. All the creative choices that they make just makes the scene so memorable. Tim stumbling his words and slowly realizing he needed to go for it, the camera quickly starting to follow him while shaking, going to a seperate room and removing the mic to cut audio, the blinds covering the possibily to read the lips, but show their bodylanguage, Tim coming back out and turning his mic back on, only to say she turned him down. Masterclass in how to write a confrontation in a "love story". Poorly written shows would have gone for the cliche confession of love and them kissing each other, then cutting to them giving an interview to the camera about their love for one another. That has been done so many times and is just a lazy way to write the finale for "getting with the girl the character has dreamt about" story. It's fine if it's done in a goofy romcom, but doesn't work in shows trying to be believable as it's an unrealistic thing that just doesn't really happen that way in the real world.

MH

You said Ricky hasn't made you love him yet, if you ever get around to watching Derek, that's where he does that. He plays the character that's furthest away from Ricky himself.

SynphamyMusic

Such a good performance from Ricky in this episode. He makes you feel for those people that act that way just because all they really want is to be liked. Looking forward to the Xmas specials. Great reactions as always, thanks Mandy ๐Ÿค—

MarkCity10

Earlier this year or last year someone I followed on Twitter took issue with Rickys stance on trans people (it really wasnt that bad and Ricky does a hell of a lot for good causes) and came out with the most ridiculous comment of "I always knew that Merchant was the funny one" like the stuff they created together was all Stephen and Ricky had nothing to do with it just because she did not agree with his opinion on one thing. People have to learn to put politics and opinions to one side when they are enjoying a comedian, a movie or music etc. You have to separate the person from their work (unless of course they do something truly evil). I have followed Ricky since way before he was famous and before he worked with Stephen, and he has always been funny as fuck (anyone remember the 11 o'clock show?). While maybe not as good as the show, I would defo watch the David Brent movie and also listen to his album he released for the soundtrack. Some brilliant moments in both.

Captain Howdy

I could change my comment now to say anything and you will have already confirmed that I am correct.

Jeffrey44

Kerplunk from memory is a plastic tube with plastic sticks in lots of holes and marbles placed on them. You have to take turns pulling the sticks out and try not to have marbles drop to the bottom. The one who has the least marbles at the end wins.

Lee Dellbridge

Regarding being made redundant I deleted the last comment so I'm not spreading fake news ๐Ÿ˜‚. You are right Jeffrey44, or at least I'm assuming you are. I have properly confused myself reading legal websites, my head is in the bin. Is this what it's like being Mandy?๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคฃ I'm only teasing, looking forward to the specials. Thank you as always Mandy๐Ÿค—

Ricky proving again what a good actor he actually is, the scene where he breaks down and tries to keep his job breaks my heart every time!
