I would guess if they did sell them there they would be 50% the price of a normal one as well.

I was specifically replying to Mandy’s reaction at 27:49, but without resurfacing that context, it could be interpreted as a general statement or opinion about the ethics of the episode, and an odd fact to zoom in on. Well, here’s the context: 27:49 Gareth: “She’s legal though” “When cherrys are red, they’re ready for plucking, when girls are 16 they’re ready for …”, Brent: “Gareth!”. At 27:56 when Gareth said “16”, Mandy actually became surprised, and quietly uttered “sixteen…”. This is the point at which my comment might make more sense. I was actually surprised at Mandy’s surprise, she was specifically surprised by the number, so I took the time to look up the law in Argentina. I just assumed all of South America had very liberal “age of consent” laws, for example in Brazil, Columbia, Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador, and Bolivia it’s fourteen. Culturally in the UK, the rhyme would not have received Mandy’s level of shock and we certainly wouldn't be surprised that age 16 was used, disapproval sure, but not surprise. In the UK, we might both be shocked at this modified rhyme: “When cherrys are red, they’re ready for plucking, when girls are 14 they’re ready for …”, and utter “fourteen…” However crude Gareth’s rhyme was, it was not advocating illegal activity. In Germany, Italy, Portugal, Hungary, Austria, Serbia, Albania, Bulgaria, Estonia, or Montenegro this modified rhyme might not have had the same level of shock value either, because the age of consent is 14 in those countries. Where in the episode does Finchy go after children? Finchy is a generally vile and offensive character, but you’ve got to be 18 or over to enter the club, no children there.

BTW, not a spoiler, but if you don't know who Ali G is, then look him up, as it will serve you to know that for a future episode. :) I've never been a 'club' person either. Never been my scene really. The only time I went into pubs was to play pool as I was in a league. That quick photo Brent took of the male secretary...haha! He makes it so obvious :) The awkwardness and cringe ever present in The Office is just so well crafted. Love it.

You see shots like that in elevators or when someone's hiding in horror when they want it to feel claustrophobic.

'Don't get your Hampton caught/court' is a nod to a palace where Henry did all of his entertaining, feasting and spent time courting Anne. I'm no historytician though, just what I member from school.

If you take that in to account 30 is pretty much end of life. The oldest living person in Argentina today is 42 years old. The oldest living person ever? Just 46. If Mandy Cane Lane lived in the UK or even Islas Malvinas then you'd be correct in what you say. The truth is, she may be lucky and live long enough to see The Office Christmas Special Part 1 but I'm afraid she is very unlikely to see The Office Christmas Special Part 2 unless it is showing in Heaven (or Hell, it's not my decision).
