The Edinburgh Fringe festival is a performance arts festival, the biggest one in the world actually! Fringe can also mean the outer edge of a group or the outliers, so it's called that because it's a hub for a lot of indie performers on the 'fringe' of the mainstream. The festival is great - I got to meet Mark Watson a couple of times there last week, just the sweetest guy.

Just wanted to mention, Frank skinner came into my work today. I wanted to ask him about his time on the first taskmaster but I didn't get the chance. I live in Edinburgh and during the August Fringe Festival you can't move for famous comedians. I've seen 6 famous comedians in the past two weeks. I once stood in a queue during August and turned around and Gregg Davies himself was right behind me, and I awkwardly said 'Oh hi', and he repeated it back in a sarcastic voice.

Such a good episode! They have such good chemistry in the studio, all frequently criticising each other so can see they are a comfortable group. The boys v girls teams was a great outcome for this season and I'm sure you'll agree after seeing a few more.
