Taskmaster - S3 E5 - FINALE - PART 1
Added 2023-02-18 13:00:04 +0000 UTC
Sorry it is in 2 parts! Since the internet cut out at the beginning, I had to join the videos in my editing software and could not for the life of me figure out how to render it to weigh less than 4 GB (which apparently is a Dailymotion requirement).
If internet stays stable, this shouldn't happen again. xD Hope y'all enjoy!!
Haha! Very intresting strategy!!!

I thought the peas were to put in the colander so it would block the holes up before adding the water. I'd have tried that.

Hmm interesting, now I'm really curious to try it.

It tastes different than caramel though, I personally love caramel, but hate dulce de leche π

Really surprised to hear you don't like Dulce de leche, it's basically just caramel isn't it? I recently saw an episode of Bake Squad in which the Argentinean guy made what he said was a traditional desert which was Dulce de Leche sandwiched between two choc biscuits and then coated in chocolate. It looked to me like a better version of a Twix! Would love to try that.

Hahaha, my kind of humour. I learned all about those photographs and have seen several. I hate them. I believe the ones of my relatives were take with them in the 'living' state though.

"Shoes are stupid now" - another one for your book of quotes? Interesting because I've never really thought about the declining intelligence of modern shoes before. I remember when shoes were solving simultaneous equations. The good old days...

LMAOOO!!! Never EVER heard of a water closet!

You spoke about cleaning ones closet at the end, in my country, we don't really have closets, we have wardrobes or cupboards. Did you notice how one of the clues in this episode was "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" and not "The Lion, The Witch and The Closet"? It's because we don't have them here
There are exactly two exceptions to that rule. 1. When someone who is gay tells people that they are gay, they still come out of the closet. I don't quite know how that works, they must get a closet shipped from America especially to come out of. 2. We have water closets (or a WC) but that is a toilet (or bathroom as an American might say) so you wouldn't want to keep your clothes or pornography collection in there.

Okay, well you know those old photographs that you were talking about? Sometimes in the olden days, if a relative died, especially a child, and they hadn't had their photograph taken, their corpse would be dressed up and posed with the rest of the family and a photograph would be taken so that the family could remember what they looked like.
Look at those old photographs again. If someone is sitting in a chair, they are probably a cadaver. A fun game you can play is to look at old photographs and try to guess who was dead when the photograph was taken. You could do it as a live stream.

Don't you have some kind of party trick you can do if the internet drops out? Start singing or juggling, magic trick or something. That's what Iron Maiden do lol. One time during a concert there was a power cut. So they got out a football and started playing football on stage. Just a crazy thought.

You could download the videos first, then play them on your computer using a media player of your choice. VLC is one of the best and most popular. You won't have to worry about drop outs then, plus video quality will be better as Google Drive was never built for streaming, their online viewer/player is more of a way to preview files before downloading them.

I can imagine the original request for an outfit was for continuity of filming, so they could mix and match the tasks in the edit, but it's now used by the contestants as a creative expression.

The Taskmaster contestants are actually asked to prepare an outfit which they then wear for all the tasks. It becomes more evident in later series when some more creative non-casual attire is worn. But yeah, if you notice they'll always be wearing the same clothes, even though the tasks are filmed over several days.

I'll watch this later and then have something incredibly insightful and thought provoking to say.
