Hey everyone,
Thursday, May 27 at 3PM ET, I'll do a live watch of the Flight of the Navigator video, talk about putting it together, what didn't make it into the cut, show more behind-the-scenes pics and answer questions!
Sammy (researcher) and Joey (VFX artist) will also join, to keep me from meandering off-topic Grandpa Simpson style.

I don’t know if this is how they did it, but in the Supermarionation shows Stingray and Thunderbirds they simulated underwater scenes by putting a fish tank in front of it. Some of those effects were extremely convincing for example halfway the opening sequence from Stingray we see the Stingray submarine leave a cliff entrance underwater where they cleverly had part of it in a fishtank and part of it behind the fish tank so the model never had to go underwater :b could that be how they accomplished it? https://youtu.be/45NtEXv7DZs (Stingray opening in HD)
