Hi all,

I want to base the next Quick D episode on this Reddit post. But I wish I could find the GIF in video form and in slightly better quality.

Are any of you great at finding sources of things that are probably not keyworded in English?

Thanks!

Wait! That's a guy?

Rich Auntie Skeleton

It's classic black art. Think of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0I-X8nAzBA, but using a gimmick -his mechanized table- instead of hidden actors. I am only interested in that table (from a mechanical engineering point of view)...

elgonzo

You personally know him? Enough to, say... put a YouTube weirdo in touch with him?

Captain Disillusion

I was going to say image search a screenshot of it on Google but obviously not needed now ha ha. I know Will. He's a nice guy and has some connections to make some high tech stuff.

Bizzaro.

Haha, wow, you're good. That was fast. Thanks!

@smelly His America's got talent performance was discussed on reddit with people trying to figure out the trick. https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/6dh9df/close_up_magic_act_from_americas_got_talent/

Ha, beat me on the AGT link too while I made a couple edits.

Darn it. Smellyfeet was quicker. I did a reverse Google image search of it too and found the source on a separate post on imgur.

Whoah, that IS Will Tsai! Please look at this video as well. I was going to send it as sort of a request, but then you DID that with the last one. But now that you've brought him up... https://youtu.be/RDl7VE8xL8c There are a whole bunch of techniques going on in that, but no editing tricks other than camera angle.

The guy behind the video appears to be a magician. He has some other tricks on his channel as well. Apparently he was on America's Got Talent the other day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDl7VE8xL8c

Found it with a quick reverse image search of the gif. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghEnqDkSUOM
