Physical copies of Quests Over Coffee Patreon cards?

As folks have been receiving their copies of Quests Over Coffee from the Gamefound campaign, y'all have been asking for physical versions of the Patreon only cards. I wanted to get a sense of what folks would be okay with considering the cardstock would very likely be different since I'd be using a different manufacturer.
So the question: is it okay that the card stock and card backs would be different from the Gamefound version?
For context, I don't own the rights to the new card backs in the Gamefound version, so I wouldn't upload those.

Same back would be much more convenient, sad that we could not just give extra Patreon support to get all those extra cards in. Game feels incomplete without it

I'm sure Gabe would give you the rights to use the card back for this purpose, however, having designed an insert to keep the Gamefound cards safe from the teeth in the VHS case, not a single extra card is going to fit. Only for space reasons many people might not take them up.

2024-08-29 21:39:07 +0000 UTCI have multiple PnP sets of everything Quest Over Coffee has to offer, printed, laminated and sleeved, With that said, I backed the Gamefound and love it, but had to sleeve t hat cards which made the Video case storage a no-go. So, I will just sleeve the cards and add them to my game with a smile on my face and song in my heart. Keep bringing the expansions and Promos!!

2024-08-29 19:28:13 +0000 UTCI would like physical copies of the Patreon cards, yes. Different backs isn't ideal, but I don't think it makes a huge difference here. Sure, you might be able to tell while shuffling or drawing that some cards are certain ones, but it doesn't seem like that's going to help you much. Any professionally printed physical version is going to be better than a PNP version I could make. FWIW, I always assumed that if you did make physical promo cards, they'd be like The Game Crafter version of the game. If so, they'd match that version of the game (which I have, though I may still need the anniversary+expansion pack), and that might satisfy people who really want the same back design. However, some of the GameFound cards were exclusive to that campaign and probably couldn't be offered in a TGC version. So, it seems like things are likely going to end up mixed to some extent no matter what. But yeah, I'm in favor of physical cards.
