2016-02-01 15:25:26 +0000 UTCI usually need to watch this stuff twice, especially to appreciate the hard work that goes into it. Those shots with the pingpong ball and the egg for example. The good captain doesn't HAVE the original footage so he had to fake it. He animated the pingpong ball to bounce and then he animated the guy breaking open an egg. And for something that goes by and doesn't really call attention to itself because it's THAT well done. Of course, there's a little wobble if you're getting REALLY meticulous in watching, but that's not really the point. Captain D's superpower is that he shows us how the trick is done and then goes one step further, usually without calling attention to himself or being smug about it. THIS is why I watch and support this show.
