And there were still songs they didn’t play: She’s so high, Stereotypes, Chemical World, There’s no other way (the song that Kurt Covain liked), Charmless Man, On Your Own, Top Man, etc. Also this concert was released as an album: Parklive.

2025-05-03 07:10:43 +0000 UTCThe best way I can put the blur/oasis thing is that oasis were a vibe, blur were a band. Oasis were a moment in time and had an energy about them - but blur were considerably better musicians, songwriters, more creative and could go in lots of directions.

2025-02-11 16:38:49 +0000 UTCWe tried to tell you that Blur are great! There's no real reason to compare Oasis and Blur, 2 totally different bands. Their 'rivalry' was mostly fabricated to sell more records

I don't know where you've got this weird posh boy, glass of wine image of them from. They're not like that at all. They're drinking down the pub blokes but they just don't try to kick someone's head in while they're down there unlike certain mono-browed types who will remain nameless😂

2024-08-19 18:45:32 +0000 UTCEpic concert and epic reaction, great stuff lads. I particularly enjoyed This is a Low which I remember well but hadn't realised the shipping forecast influence to the lyrics before. PS a little unfair to label Blur as posh boys, they all went to state school as far as I can gather, it was just a label they were given during britpop. Never going to be as working class as the Gallaghers but they certainly weren't born with silver spoons in their mouths.

2024-08-19 17:44:40 +0000 UTCYou think Noel or Liam Gallagher would be better to go for a pint with than Damon?? Damon has a brilliant intelligent creative mind, Noel has had a career ripping off the Beatles. Noel is more likely to have a glass of wine than Damon
