2024-01-13 15:13:54 +0000 UTCWe only do epidural here when the birth is in the hospital. Usual you give birth at home with the midwife to support you. Only in case of complications or high risk of complication you'll give birth in a hospital. I gave home at birth cause there was no reason to expect any difficulties. I must say I preferred giving birth at home, cause I felt much more in control of what was happening and how I wanted it to happen in my own surroundings. In the hospital you just have to go with the flow there and are much more dependent on whoever happens to be working and how busy they are. The pain was hell though.
