Incredible game, incredible comeback, I watched it on the night in a pub in Brighton on the south of England, there were plenty of Liverpool fans but fans of all teams there, and the funny thing is after we scored two even fans of our arch rivals Man Urd were cheering us on, Champions League finals can have that effect sometimes! As a Liverpool fan what I'm about to say is sacrilege, but the greatest comeback in a Champions League final for me was 1999, Man Utd vs Bayern, no spoilers, but that really was unbelievable!

I was like, it’s fine guys, this is ours now. My Dad was a die hard red, season ticket holder all his life, he had terminal lung cancer at the time. He came downstairs to watch the match, he would have been at if he was strong enough. He died 2 days later and his season ticket was with him in the coffin. His coffin went behind the curtains to the song You’ll Never Walk Alone! That’s what this special club is about. I’ll never forget the emotion of that night. No Liverpool supporter would ever go home until the final whistle, that is who we are. X
