"Daily" Update: Redditorial Work

We recently broke our $800 goal, and as a result, I'm putting in time between videos right now to get the Reddit all spruced up and ready for work.

Problem though: this is not simple work. For any of you who are not familiar with Reddit's "back end" (if that term is applicable), it's basically just a section for custom CSS rules that override the default ones to customize your page. In effect, if you want even the *simplest* custom filtration system, you have to have a pretty solid understanding of CSS code. Which I do not.

So right now I'm scouting out someone to take this on for me while I do research for the next video. It's ultimately a very small job, but most of the people I've found who might be able to handle something like this are also unwilling. I'll give you guys progress updates, but expect this to be something that just kind of unfolds slowly off to the side.

In the mean-time, we're officially starting research for our Slavic Folklore series! Notice, I said Slavic Folklore, not mythology. That's largely to do with the material all of your said you were most excited for in that series. We'll be leaning away from ancient/contemporary Slavic religious stories and more toward Slavic fairy tales and creatures (BABA YAGAAAA).

Hopefully we'll be able to put together a few theses pretty quickly and host a think-tank session about them (to decide which one will go into the episode). Man, just talking about it gets me super giddy. It feels like it's been such a long time.

For now, everyone have a lovely Thursday!
