2025-07-16 06:16:09 +0000 UTCDon't worry so much about how you pronounce Woozi's name, he's pronounced it a bunch of different ways, Woozi, Uji, Uzi, really any way works! Fun fact about his stage name, it actually came from a nickname all the staff at Pledis had for him while he was a trainee. For a while he was the youngest trainee, and all the staff would call him "Our Jihoon", which in Korean is "Uri Jihoon", if you shorten it, "UJi" which they decided to romanize it as "Woozi". I just love the story behind it, because he tries to portray such a tough image but his name comes from the love of older staff members who adored him as essentially a child. I definitely suggest the Suchwita with Woozi, BUT there is a Suchwita with Hoshi that came out first! And about their military service, we have four members aren't going. S.Coups was fully medically exempted due to a major injury that required multiple surgeries (the military doesn't want him as a liability lol), Joshua is an American citizen, and Jun and The8 are both Chinese citizens, so they don't have to go. While Vernon was born in America, he chose Korean citizenship (Korea doesn't offer dual citizenship) so he will have to enlist. Jeonghan is currently enlisted and is about halfway done, Wonwoo enlisted in April and should be back in 2027. Woozi and Hoshi will be enlisting on September 14th and 15th respectively. DK should be enlisting at probably the beginning of next year, if not the end of this year. The good thing about SVT having so many members, is that they won't be going on a hiatus during this enlistment period, they'll just have a fluctuating amount of members until everyone comes back haha!
