BABY ARMY WATCH ALL 7 BTS MEMBERS GET DISCHARGED FROM THE MILITARY! WOW...THIS IS SO EMOTIONAL!

btw for jk and jimins the notice was wrong about them being in diffrent units they were in the same unit all the time they slept next to each other for the past 1,5 year. but they were transported to that location here because the base is not fitted for so many people to welcome them

leat

Just a small correction - Jimin and Jungkook did indeed serve in the same unit, and came in the same car from the same place because of that. I don't know why that caption claimed otherwise, but yeah... they were the only two BTS members to serve together via the buddy system πŸ™‚

I mean if the biggest scandal the guys have one of them falling of a scooter that tells you right there how good people they are

so just a reminder for people who might not know or don't think it is a big deal and this will be the only negative thing I have to say about them discharging: everyone who went there is not a fan in my opinion. BigHit and the guys clearly asked us not to come ot the discharge sites because it would be dangerous to have so many people there and it is not only the guys who get discharged so yeah everyone who went there is not a fan and they clearly don't respect the guys and their wishes. It was bad with Tae and Namjoon but even worse with JK and Jimin where they screamed through the whole thing while JK and Jimin were talking. For me they don't respect any of the BTS guys and I just want to remind everyone that we have an ARMY etiquette to not do stuff like that. It's not somehting anyone should be proud of to be disrespectful like that to the guys. With that being said I am very happy that all the guys made it back safely and I can't wait what they have in store for us! And of course I loved the reaction :)

Stefanie

Love the reaction guys. You guys always notice the small details. I was amazed you picked up on the scar on JK's arm. I believe it was from a cooking accident as he was stationed in the kitchen in the army and making food for that many people is often difficult to manage. Also, he is known for running away from the mic when asked to give a speech so it's not out of the ordinary for him to be nervous in such a situation. Just so you know, fans are explicitly asked NOT to go to the Army base to welcome the idols home. It is seen as disrespectful to the private citizens who are also being discharged and it could cause a risk of overcrowding. It was particularly annoying and shameful at JK and Jimin's discharge because they screamed so loud and nobody could even hear what they said. One of the things that drew me to the fandom 5 years ago was how respectful the fans were to the band, treating them like human beings. Myself and other Army were very upset by this shameful display by selfish people. RM seems to have had the roughest time in the army and we were especially excited to see him freed. As for Suga, don't want to dwell on it too much. He made a mistake and apologized, and that should have been that. I don't think most Army want or need him to keep apologizing for it. Also, the vitriol and treatment he got from the media and others was unreal. He was accused of lying in his initial statement and vilified. He was made to apologize in the most grandiose way; it was gross. It eventually came out that he was telling the truth and humbly accepted responsibility. We hope to leave it in the past now. πŸ’œ

i agree this fans at jk and jimins discharged had made me so angry , i watched it to hear their voices and not the screaming of this crazy fans, in my oppinion it was really disrespectfull against jk and jimin to over scream their speeches

Jimin & Jungkook did NOT serve in different units, this is a misunderstanding. They were both in the artillery unit in the 5th division, they just had different tasks. Jungkook was a cook, Jimin later became a squad leader. And please, please let us not rehash the Suga thing, it's over and done with, let's not give any ammunition for haters to attack him now that he's finally back

Lucky Lucy

I'm so glad that everyone is now "free". I hope you'll also watch the live streams they did right after they were released. I also recommend RM's live streams because he talked about a lot of important things. I also hope you'll watch the content from JHope's Festa concert, where all the members were present and two even performed with JHop on stage. In the video with Jimin and Jungkook, the subtitles suggested that JM and JK were in separate units, but they were in the same unit throughout their service. They enlisted under the buddy system, which allows close people to serve together so they can support each other during this difficult time. As for Suga. He did the human thing, because he's only human. But the punishment he received for it was disproportionate to the crime. Unfortunately, the world of K-pop and Korean society in general is very harsh and judgmental. The corrupt media and BTS opponents have always been looking for a reason to discredit the group or its members. Suga became a scapegoat and was attacked in a massive way. He was made a monster and a criminal, but he has so much goodness inside him and shares it with others. Today, news came out that Suga, in cooperation with Severance Hospital, created a specialized treatment center in his name, the aim of which is to support the treatment and social independence of patients with autism spectrum disorder. In cooperation with the hospital, he created the MIND program - Music, Interaction, Network and Diversity, which combines teaching music and social skills. Suga donated 5 billion won to the hospital, and for several months, as part of his volunteer work, he took part in classes with the hospital's patients, including teaching them how to play instruments. So in addition to his mandatory substitute service, he devoted his free weekends to community service. I thought he couldn't be loved more. Of course, all the members are very humble and generous. They have supported charity events many times as BTS, but also individually.

Would love to watch your reactions of their lives on Weverse after discharge. πŸ’œ

So good to know that they are all back together again! Very curious about what they are going to give us. Can't wait for their new content.

Latkat

Loved your reaction as usual!!

Martina Pirro

Fans actually weren't supposed to show up to their discharge stuff,, just reporters. Im glad they got to see how much we miss them but its always so disappointing when the fans dont listen 😭 especially for Jimin and Jungkook’s discharge there was so much screaming we could barely even hear them :(( Love your reaction though guys its so nice to have the boys back !! β™‘β™‘β™‘

Ashlee

I think it needs addressing; Suga’s incident blown out of proportion because he is BTS. The media has been trying to get even tiniest bit of scandal out of the boys over the years.

Drianne Gray

Hey guys great reaction πŸ₯°πŸ₯° Jin discharge on the 12th June 2024 and the next day did the festa celebration alone. Jhope discharge on te 17th October 2024. And on the 18th jin "kidnapped" him for a run jin episode. 🀣🀣(Ep 16 & 17, if you want to check) Also, lets all thank jin and hobi for all they did when the boys was still in military. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Follow up comment. I only posted about Yoongi's incident because he still spoke about it in his letter. And newer ARMYs might get the wrong impression as this might end up reaching the YouTube audience. Plus it is not something I felt he needed forgiveness from us for. I just accepted what happened and appreciated him showing accountability. Anyways we move.

Beckyboo⁷

We don't wannt dig into it don't worry :)

Just saying, yoongi did not have a legit DUI case as initially reported (not what ppl think of when coming to DUIs). He was driving an electric scooter, when it was initially reported differently. This distinction is important because his DUI case was initially treated more seriously due to the vehicle classification. More importantly, no one was harmed and he did not lie or try to deflect that what he did was wrong. He immediately addressed it, apologized and followed everything the court laid out for him. Really, the events surrounding him getting in trouble had so many instances of misinformation (even videos spread that were NOT him) and it was highly blown out of proportion. He was fined, he apologized (way more than he should have) and the case was closed. He had a very human moment, and the k netizens, other fandoms and media that came after him, calling for him to leave the group were in my opinion ridiculous. But it’s not surprising, these individuals are always looking for a way to attack the group and bring them down, especially with how big they are. ARMY really did a lot of comfort projects for him to support and make it known that he was forgiven. I hope he knows. Anyways, rant over. Yoongi should not have felt the need to apologize again, but I understand he felt the need to and it obviously weighs on him still. You don’t need to react to it, but if you do look it up on your own time, please dive deep and really take a lot of the media/articles with a grain of salt.

Hi Cheryl so you are here to πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ we have had a few chats on Jared and Jordan 's channel, maybe I am being a bit gummpy over the Suga incident and that's why I don't want to bring it up anymore for me it's water under the bridge and to see it still troubling him is a little concerning

Heather ⁷

I wrote a description of what happened so that they don’t find all the false, negative information out there in case they search it up. I’m hoping the whole thing is put to rest now and forever.

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Sorry I had to turn off we you started talking about Suga, we have forgiven Suga and it is not worth reacting to, sorry again

Heather ⁷

I didn't what to say what happened to Suga because as far as I am concerned it's water under the bridge and not worth bring up

All the members left and went directly to the Hybe building on the day of their discharge where they were greeted with a celebration by all the staff and managers. They all then did a β€œlive” to greet ARMY before they even changed out of their uniforms, really had a chance to eat, rest or celebrate. It was incredibly sweet and wonderful to hear from them. Some also did some individual lives afterwards just to check in and share some of their military experiences with us. They have gone through difficult times as RM shared. All their goodbye, entrance, discharge and post military lives are available now with English subs. SUGA’s experience was a little different. Due to his motorbike accident as a trainee and subsequent shoulder surgery in late 2020, he was not able to serve in the regular army but had to serve as a public servant. He worked at an office, regular hours during the week, not in uniform so he was required to serve for I believe it was 21 months from September/23 to June/25. That is why there is no entrance or discharge ceremony for him as he was not at a base camp although he was required to do several weeks of basic training. He was indeed apologizing for the scooter incident from about a year ago. Basically he travelled approximately 500 metres riding a scooter with a seat on the sidewalk after having some alcohol at dinner. He turned sharply into his driveway and fell over with the scooter losing his helmet. CCTV footage showed that he immediately stood up, retrieved his helmet and walked the scooter towards the parking area when the police arrived (he appeared to have passed some officers nearby). They took a Breathalyzer and he blew over the legal limit and since the scooter had a seat and was ridden, it was considered a DUI. The media reported false footage of someone zipping down the road at speed claiming it was him. The media, fans of other groups and Antis were demanding that he be arrested, leave or be forced out of the group. He was paraded before the public at the police station when he voluntarily appeared to be questioned. The real footage of the incident was released. He apologized twice online along with Hybe management and in person when he was questioned. He paid a fine and had his drivers license suspended for about a year I believe. He never shied away from responsibility, admitted he made a mistake but has been incredibly remorseful. I’m happy that he wrote to everyone on the day of his discharge but feel very sad that he’s still apologizing. There were lots of signs, music trucks and Army’s at Hybe wishing him well and happy to see his military service completed even though we didn’t have an official ceremony or appearance. He will go live and talk to us when he’s ready. Our OT7 is back and we’re all very excited and happy. πŸ’œπŸ«°πŸ»

I think it is important to give you guys some info about their military discharge and the questions you had. - Big Hit told fans not to go the military bases for enlistment/ discharge days for safety and to not be a nuisance to the other soldiers and their families. You saw that in Jikook's video disrespectful people were screeching while they were trying to speak to the reporters. Not cool. - Yoongi's incident (August 2024) was that he was driving an electric scooter home, police saw him fall on the pavement and they found some level of alcohol in his blood. What followed was a witchhunt by Korean media - weeks of articles trying to ruin his reputation and some 'fans' were trying to push for him to leave BTS. FYI his service was social work for 21 months as he has an injured shoulder. Some of the news outlets responsible were present for the other members discharge so most ARMYs avoided their livestreams and waited for the guy's official updates. He spent his military out of the public eye: zero social media posts but had to come back to address this incident and go to the police station. It was awful how he was treated tbh πŸ˜” - RM did a really honest and informative solo weverse live talking about his experience in the Army, we found out how this negatively affected his sleep. I think everyone should watch. This was not easy for them at all. https://weverse.io/bts/live/2-160252005 Overall I'm glad that it over and hope the guys can move forward with what they have learned and be an even more awesome BTS in the future πŸ’œ (Sorry this is very long 😭 kbye)

Koreo Now has english subs for RM & V and JK & Jimin. The man would gave the flowers to Jin & J Hope is the CEO of HYBE also please don't praise those so called ARMIES, BTS & Big Hit asked ARMY not to go to the discharge, only real ARMIES would do what they are told by BTS, I have been ARMY for 12 years this coming September. Also all the guys went live after discharge apart from Suga as for what happened to Suga last year we don't speak about it so I am not going to say what it was
