I do wish they would have said more about that. Bts was such a small company group and their company was in the verge of bankruptcy, so they wouldnt even have the money to pay anyone or buy back their albums. There was a lot more accusations against them, because they rose outside of the industry, so they only got army to help them. And even later, when they then became big, they couldnt still get to the priviledged part of the industry, because they still didnt pay up. By the time that they would have gotten the money to do that, they already had army, so they didnt need to pay anymore. So industry wasnt happy about that. Same with Usa, they havent paid to industry there either wich has lead to stuff like them not getting radioplay even how popular they would be or getting a grammy etc even tho they have been nominated multiple time and performed in the grammys. Thats how grammys could take advantage of them, get large armys views and visibility 🙄

yes you are right, we got this special, amazing and absolute incredible content cause they are not part of the big 3, so they had no other choice to made their own ways to connect with the fans, what they did trough their YT vlogs. bangtan Bombs, variety shows and behind the scenes, and cause they has not to follow the rules of the big 3 they had much more freedom to do the things in their own way, they had their hands much more in their songs, lyrics and concepts as other groups, they had the freedom to show us their true selfs, thoughts and feelings instead of presenting the perfect Idol image that show other groups from the big 3 .they were always open minded, honest and sincere in every thing they did , they gave us the chance to see them as person, as individuals and as humans not only as idols, so i thank god that this amazing guys being not part of the Big 3

i agree, they for sure talking about BTS, we all know how aou boys started and how much backlash and mistreatment they got because they were not part of the Big 3 , but they did it , they got succesfull on their own , trough their hard work, without help of the so called big 3, and im so proud of them every single award and success is earned trough out their hard work, strong will, believe in tehmself and the strong bond and unwavering love to us Armys, im so thankfull that the boys never gave up and hold on to their dreams .Thank you BTS thank you so much 💜💜💜

Wow…it’s crazy how I get choked up watching all the old clips from 2015. I became an ARMY in 5/2015, because of I Need You. That time was not always nice to our guys but they were climbing higher and higher. It’s emotional to watch, and remember…. Times were definitely simpler to an extent, but also more volatile. Also, honestly, I know the crying is irritating for you when it happens (atleast it seems so) but I totally relate. 💜 I’m very much emotionally sympathetic, I easily cry when others cry, but it’s good to release so I appreciate you not holding back (makes me feel seen 😆).

They were definitely talking about BTS being in the middle tier that he was describing. They talked about how these big agencies had the ability to offer up their popular groups onto a show in exchange for also showcasing their new, unknown groups. BTS (as a new unknown group at the time) didn't have this opportunity because they were basically it from their agencies. There were other acts at BIGHIT, but nothing huge like EXO or Big Bang etc. Because their agency didn't have massive amounts of money to promote them, they became trendsetters in using social media to connect with their fans (which all groups later started to do). I really believe it is their behind the scenes and vulnerable vlogs that connect us so strongly to them as artists. We start to feel that we know them as people, not just performers. It's genius really. The fact that they were accused of chart manipulation was so ridiculous since their agency had no money and was barely staying a float.
