0.8 Development Update 4

First of all,
➡️ LAST CHANCE TO GET THE LYRIEL MAID ANIMATION SPECIAL
Just in case you miss the separate public post. I know it's a bit annoying, but like every time I mention some past special I get a few comments of "wait I missed what special?"
So yeah. Now there's no excuse. Except for Patreon not pushing the notifications or something.
➡️Lyriel Maid Special is going out this weekend. Get it while you can, and we'll have a returning special on offer soon, tho. The Clown one. Honk-honk, dear.
But we're not only doing specials, we're also doing game updates:
➡️v0.8.04
Is going to Early Access later this week and it has some cool stuff in it! Jenny has joined the Halloween dream in her cheerleading zombie fighting glory.
This is the first scene fully done in our new graphics pipeline, and boy did we have issues with it. We still have to do some work on the look so it fits better with the rest of the game. On the other hand, the animation is mint. Just check the ending, it's so gloopy and awesome.
Oh, and this scene is getting sfx and a voiceover! We're still on the fence about adding sound/voice to all the sex scenes, but we're pretty close to putting it to a vote.
Okay, next, the Halloween in the House event is now replayable. Or playable for the first time if you missed it last year. Check it out, it's (still) really fun!
And Cait got herself a Very Important Talk event. We're going to add more animated cutscenes to it before EA, but the meaningful part is already in. Make your choice. And probably make a save, just like with Lyriel.
We have an idea or two about adding an indication for the important choices, but we haven't finalized any yet. Soon!
And that's basically it for this update. We wanted to add another event for Cait, but the technical difficulties took their toll, and I decided against pushing the team to the limit this time.
We'll keep going in...

We're definitely doing Cait 33,with a trip back to the University! Maybe we'll do Cait 34 as well if things go smoothly, and a start of a new story arc for Naomi is on the cards.
And we're going to add at least one new sex scene, using the new pipeline. Watch out for the Side Sex Scene poll next week!

The scene with Cait on the rooftop is excellent. When Cait spread her arms with our hero holding her I was reminded of that famous scene from the film "Titanic". Though hopefully the skyscraper isn't going to collide with an iceberg afterwards! :)

2025-10-24 20:40:20 +0000 UTCThe current voices (for Rowen's and Annie's dreams) are mixed in with SFX, but if we go with more voiced scenes we'll definitely add a voice volume slider

2025-10-21 07:23:10 +0000 UTCJust adding my two cents on the voiced sex scenes: Adding moans and sex sounds is good (assuming they match up with the motions), but adding voiced dialog lines is less desirable. Mostly because some people tend to have diverse interests in terms of what voices they like, so some people are going to like whatever VA you hire, while others will likely find them insufferable. And then there’s some who don’t mind the voice itself, but find voiced dialog (ie. the presence of audio input in the form of comprehensible language) to be distracting. Alternatively, if you (or whoever in your creative circle is promoting this) decide to go ahead with voiced dialog, I’d recommend tying that to a separate volume bar so those who dislike it can simply switch it off (though please keep the moans separate).
