0.6 Development Update 10

v0.6.1r1 for Early Access is building right now and should be available in less than an hour. And for the first time in Rift’s history it will feature some voice acting! It’s just a track of moans/plaps for Annie’s animation for now, but this scene should get yet another update when the next part of the recording is done. As soon as the files are there, I’ll update the game to r2 and this dream of Annie will be the first fully-voiced scene in the game!
After it’s fully out I’ll have a good long think, will figure out some numbers, and will probably do a poll on the VA/SFX stuff. I don’t think adding full voice acting for the entire game is feasible, but we maybe probably perhaps can do at least some fun stuff.
For now we’ve switched to making v0.6.2. It’s going to feature more of Blair, including yet another personal story event that will definitely put the end to her starting arc. And we’ll start her side path that will include her first sexy times scene:
And maybe we will even be able to fit a second one! But probably not. We will try to fit in a fun side event or two, though.
And after v0.6.2 we’ll move to other story routes and within another two to three updates we’ll get to the main story as well.
