"Cook with Me" - Homemade Creamy Ramen 🍜

Hi Tomo's!

We're bringing in a "Cook with Me" series, where I create different delicious and usually cheap meals that are very yummy! Tonight is a great dish as it cost less than $10! (if you have ingredients, but remember that these are reusable ingredients so can recreate multiple times)

Ingredients: Ramen noodles packet w/ flavouring (any noodles/brand will do, I personally prefer the Jin Ramen blue packet) | 3 eggs (2 if not so hungry) | spring onion | beef strip (or any meat of preference) | Kewpie mayo | minced garlic

1. Prep the base: put the ramen flavour packet/s inside a bowl, add a decent serve of kewpie mayo and a small pea size amount of minced garlic, and (1) egg yolk only, *do not add egg white* mix well in bowl until a wet texture and set aside.

2. Boil water first, then add 1-2 eggs and set a timer for exactly 6.5 mins if you want a runny egg yolk or 7.5 mins if you want a more solid egg yolk. Once timer runs out, put eggs immediately into a ice water bowl to stop the cooking. Once cooled, peel and set aside.

3. Boil water first, then add you ramen noodles and cook until soft. *keep the water* Whilst noodles are cooking, take your meat of choice and cook it how you prefer, in mine I had a thin steak cooked for 2 mins each and set aside to cool for 5 mins, then cut into strips and set aside.

4. In your bowl with premixed spice base, add 150ml of the cooked noodle water in and mix well, then add your noodles and mix thoroughly. (this sauce base will thicken as you eat, It won't look so watery after 5 mins, I promise). Once mixed, add your 1-2 eggs (cut in half if you desire) add your finely sliced spring onion and sliced meat.

5. Make a lovely drink as a side and enjoy that shit! You're welcome and i'd LOVE to see pics of your meals!

Uh oh, time to fail at cooking

Authentic Inari-Fox

It's so good! Whilst proper japanese made ramen is top tier, this is honestly a close second! Esp if you let it sit for a few mins to let the sauce thicken a bit! UGH SO GOOD!!

This looks real good Baz! I'll have to give this a try. It's been ages since I last had ramen.

ShadowBlade347

It is very yummy, the sauce thickens so it has that creaminess texture! (almost feels like added cheese texture)! Please let me know how you go!
