Spring 2023: Project Thoughts and Goals + Poll

Over the last month, I took a break from writing to focus on making sure all my comic projects got the attention they needed to get firm starts. They're all healthy and moving along, so I'm going to get back to writing.

1. Ghosting Through Life

--- I have an endpoint in mind for this story and I wanna reach it. It's gonna take somewhere between 4 and 6 chapters and create opportunities for her being included in future stories. I'm also hoping to provide an interesting and fun explanation as to why she's in "TaurPunk."

My goals regarding this are:

A. Finish the current arc at the farm. (1-2 chapters)

B. Write the part where she gets back to Philly and eventually gets swept up in a larger story. (3-5 chapters)

2. Being my own DM for a sexy fantasy novel.

--- I've played a lot of D&D over the years as both a player and a DM. When I'm doing chores in the house or outside of it, I listen/watch D&D podcasts such as Critical Role and Dimension 20.

The options in D&D 5e, my worldbuilding, and my understanding of the system all converged about six months ago. Then, at the end of January, Wizards of The Coast has put all D&D 5e content under the Creative Commons license, removing all the qualms I had about using their system as the backbone for a fantasy story. This story has been brewing in my brain for over six months and touches on all the fun one can have in a D&D game full of lewd furry friends.

There will definitely be lewd shenanigans and the story starts off with a herm transformation, like many of my stories. XD That said, the plot will be in the driver's seat because I have a strong idea for it.

My goals regarding this are:

A. Create character sheets for the 6 adventurers that will be joining up.

B. Write a short story that introduces each character where I use the character sheet and D&D Beyond to model the events of the story. (Yes, I'm going to DM my own writing. I love playing "What if?" with myself and dice make that easy.)

3. Remiel's Enlightenment

--- This has been a very hard project to work on. I've come up with lots of rationalizations for why, but I honestly don't know which ones hold merit. I have a pretty clear idea of how this book, and the next, will go. That said, I never seem to go back to it and every time I do, I feel stumped. This doesn't mean I won't finish it, it means that I have something left to figure out. Either regarding my feelings about the project or something about the project itself.

My goal regarding this is:

Give it more thought and attention, but focus on other projects to keep my forward momentum.

4. Dating a Herm Werewolf

--- I'm planning on getting back to this project because I have multiple ideas I'm dying to write down. Fiona's story just ended up in my creative driver's seat and won't let go of the wheel until I finish it.

My goal regarding this is:

Get back to writing this series after Fiona's story is done. There's multiple plot threads I want to tie up before I start putting out chapters of the fantasy novel.

5. Persephone and Tritonia

--- This story series will get new life from [spoilers] and I will likely do more of it after [spoilers] happens. No goal here, it's attached to another goal.

6. Tail Virus Series

--- I haven't forgotten about this series. I have multiple ways forward with it, but not a singular one that has locked into place. When this happens, I very often just give myself time. I'm likely to do another one-off sexy story using this universe sometime in the next few months.

My goal regarding this is:

Be patient with myself and let ideas develop naturally. I know lots of people love this series and I do too. It'll happen, just gotta give myself room for the creativity to flow.

7. Safe as a Werewolf

--- I haven't forgotten about this story and it has a good chance of joining up with my fantasy novel, actually. I'm not sure how that works yet, but my intuition has been pointing me in this direction. No goal here, the space for this story to grow will likely come from the fantasy novel and my plans for it could make that novel more interesting.

8. Girlcock College

--- The next volume is going to have fun character interaction and I'm super excited for it. I've been waiting a couple months to introduce Hailey. Also, now that the first volume is done, I have a good opening for y'all to vote on some volume 2 details.

My goals regarding this are:

A. Run a vote about when Hailey's cock comes in.

B. Start on the first part of volume 2 that takes place in Hailey's dorm room.

C. Try out some locations and come up with options for where Professor Radia Karvonen and Hailey meet up so I can let y'all vote on a couple options.

9. Garage Chemistry

--- I'm mostly an editor and dialogue writer for this project and it's got lots of momentum. I'm just going to keep working with Foxinuhhbox to give life to his ideas. I'm having fun letting him take the wheel while being in a support role.

10. Taurpunk

--- The sexiness at the beginning has been super fun. I'm looking forward to the completion of the sex scene and the neat plot that comes after. The plot hook has already been laid. Remember the messages Chloe got on the second page?

My goal regarding this is:

Enjoy creating the sex scene, but then get back to the plot! AAAHHH! :-P

11. Make an Index

I have a ton of stuff up on here and it's not exactly easy to find what you're looking for, especially since you probably don't always remember a good tag or search term to look up. If I get the series and stories I've written all in one place with their descriptions, it'll be a lot easier to navigate my content. I plan to do this gradually, since it's a massive project.

12. Create PDF Versions of My Stories

Many people have mentioned to me that they'd like PDFs of my stories and lots of people have said they prefer it when authors make PDFs of their stories available on FA. I can also add any commissioned art for each story to these.

I'll still provide .txt stories, but I'm thinking I'll provide PDF versions as well when I make stuff. I'll also go back through my backlog to gradually make PDF versions of past stories. I'll share those PDF versions on Patreon first even if it's a story already posted outside of Patreon. The first one, my prototype for the format is the PDF I released today of: "Ezzie's Morning Trouble."
