Despite the difficulty of trying to stay within Lili's dream Jasper refuses to be pushed out. No matter what Lili's subconscious throws at him he would manage to find a way to stay by her side. Lili's dream has the ability to create a false reality, Her subconscious feels if it was able to create a world she has always wanted to be apart of it must create it to be as real as possible this way she would never question her reality. From the sensations of pain, fear, death, hunger, sleep, cold, hot etc...it all feels realistic.

If Jasper isn't careful he to can be lost within her dreams. A dreamcatcher must always hold onto a item that reminds them that they are in a dream and not to lose their way. Jasper understands he is in a dream so death doesn't scare him the way it would of in reality. Unfortunately if Jasper manages to die within the dream he would immediately wake up and unable to return.

Jasper knows the pain he feels isn't real yet it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.
