Ada's Latest Mission

Hey everyone!

Following on from my post the other day, I've started work on my RE4 set with Ada. Just realised that this is my first proper set with Ada from RE4 where it's dedicated fully to her. Better late than never I guess!

Anyhoo, I'm in a much better place here than with the WWE set. Back in my groove with this one. Progress is moving along well, I'm now at like 21 images in and just started the action - no big set up here.

At the moment I'm keeping the set simple. I think I've got into the mind set of having to out do each previous set - go bigger and more complex each time. But that doesn't always mean better. So instead of trying to top each previous attempt by adding in more and more monsters with bigger stories that results in sets that would be around 150 images, I'm going to remind myself that I don't need to try and go bigger and louder each time. A set with just two characters is just as good as a set with four as you can focus on quality without any sacrifices and over reaching.

With that in mind this should be a simplier set. However, I'll play it by ear and I might add in another monster. It would be the El Gigante one. Not making any promises as it's got a tricky rig that I'm not super confident in. I'll do this set as planed, then at the end I'll decided whether or not to add the next monster in or save it for a set on it's own.

So I've added some of the images I've made so far over to the teaser folder under 'Scary Monsters & Super Creeps'. Feel free to check them out!

Oh, forgot to add. You'll notice that I've made some changes to the Regenerator model. Mainly a new schlong model that I spent ages tweaking to get just right as well as some improvments to the monster's model itself. Mainly adding in a better Subsurfacing Scattering look as well as some edits to it's roughness and specular settings. Overall, I think it's a big improvment over the original ones I used before. Love to hear your views on it.
