Update 3.2.0: News, records, and more

This update is the biggest step forward so far, introducing two major features that will make your saves feel more alive and much easier to explore: News and Records.

The new News Window allows the editor to generate articles about what is happening in your career: race results, title battles, transfer rumors, and much more. To read the news you need to be a Patreon supporter (any tier). During the first week after release, however, reading news will be free for everyone, so you can try it without restrictions.

To generate the full text of the articles, you will also need to enter your own free API Key from Google AI Studio. There is a direct link in the settings modal under Patreon, and creating a key only takes a moment. Once added, the editor will use it to bring each headline to life with a complete article.

The old Standings Window has been transformed into Records. Here you can explore far more than just season standings. The section now includes victories, poles, podiums, and championship counts, both for all-time leaderboards and for any specific season. If you prefer, you can also hide historic drivers who are not present in your save, making the view cleaner and more relevant.

Alongside these headline features, the update also improves navigation with smoother transitions between windows, refreshes the styling and colors of the interface, and fixes several issues that affected saves and comparisons. For example, saving configuration will no longer increase game difficulty, mentality freeze is displayed correctly, qualifying data is handled properly even when the game deletes old records, and team comparisons now show accurate results.

This update marks a turning point: the editor is no longer only a database tool, but also a way to follow your career through stories and statistics that give your save much more depth. I am very sorry for the huge delay, but I really hope you enjoy this one.

In October I will generate a new shared key for Patreon members and upload it hers so members can have it and use it on the editor. I believe the February key has already been quite generous, lasting all the way until September.
