Thanks! This is very relevant to me at the moment. If you were going to try to "strap a bunch of SSDs to the network" at 25Gb with a low-ish platform cost, would a "Son of the forbidden router" setup be a good choice? The NIC and the HBA would both have to run at x8 which may be a problem but 6 Alder Lake P cores seem like they might be up to the job?
