2023-07-25 20:27:28 +0000 UTCI had some random TI calculator that wasn't a graphing calculator but solved 3rd order polynomials if I remember correctly. It was never on the "not allowed" calculator list. My dad has several of the calculator predecessors to Wendel's computer. He bought them as at architect in the late 70s and early 80s where he could program it to solve truss loads and other calculations that he did a lot.
