Added 2025-02-16 09:59:40 +0000 UTCTysm for all the recent support - I'm more motivated than ever to work on 0.0.5.. and also quite terrified lol. For the past few months I've only really been making this game for my own enjoyment, but now there's so many people also looking forward to updates and the idea of releasing a 'bad update' or disappointing people is preeeetty scary.
But I think I should still keep making the game primarily for myself and try not to worry so much? because I think it results in a better game overall when the dev actually cares about and plays the game themselves - but of course I'll do my best to listen to feedback about story ideas and stuff
Also as a sidenote - this kind of pixel art CG is a remnant from early development when the whole artstyle was gonna be pixel art. Have obviously since changed from that, but still holds a place in my heart

I think it's fine to look at feedback, but 100% overall create your vision. It's a passion project :) If you make it for us rather than yourself, you might lose interest or not enjoy making it as much...so definitely make it for yourself imo xP

Personally, I'd rather see a creator stick to their "guns"/story idea rather than veer off course trying to please others...

But first and foremost, make sure its something you enjoy and you're happy with. Otherwise it isn't worth doing. Forget about us and let your passion drive you. That being said...I am looking forward to future updates!

But ultimately making it for yourself, or what you'd want to play I feel is really important. I'm sure everyone would rather you keep the passion for making the game rather than fall out of love with it.
