I just had an interesting idea to make this month's picture a little bit different. Instead of making a picture of some random bloodelf, why not make a picture of lots of bloodelfs? And why not use your characters for that?
I just need to think of a scenario where you'd find lots of female bloodelfs and that would be suitable for both SFW and NSFW versions.
I'll give this some more thought and wander around ingame to get some ideas.
If I decide to go for it, I'll make another post and let the 5$ guys submit their characters for the pic.
Maybe this could become another regular thing ... probably not monthly though. It doesn't necessarily always have to be one race either. I could mix races and genders, depending on the theme or scenario. I'd probably decide on either SFW or NSFW beforehand, cause otherwise it'd be a bit too limiting.
Just thinking out loud here ... let's see how this one works out first =)

Hey! There have been some picture and animation updates since this post, do they not show up for you? Yes, the wallpaper isn't finished yet. February has been a particularly slow month. I spent most of my time on learning about things (Maya's modeling and UV toolkit and Substance Tools, which I'll buy soon), practiced some more scripting and wasted a lot of time and work trying to settle on a look for future WoW stuff.

2017-02-05 23:21:34 +0000 UTCShouldn't be that bad, since the materials I'll be using are rather simple. No fancy shiny surfaces and whatnot. Even so, I'm not really concerned about render times for these stills. The Widowmaker wallpaper for example took an hour to render, due to the insame amount of sampling required to solve the depth of field noise on the floor.
