Canceled the render yesterday, reduced motion blur, fixed some stuff and rendered again. It should be done in 9h from now. Don't expect a release in 9h though! Read the last paragraph as to the why.
This is what it looks like when I simply swap out the files from the first scene's composition. Check out the other picture in the attachment, which shows what it looks like straight out of the renderer.
I think the post effects work quite well for this angle, so there's not a lot I need to do there. The wings are a bit blown out, so I'll need to look into that.
The background with the buildings is the same as in the first shot, so that's going to be replaced with a render from the new angle.
I've had an idea how I could make the back view work. The problem was her wings getting into the way and alternative angles looking too dull. I think what I'll be doing is to render only the parts of the animation that work, so it's not going to be a full loop, and then combine these bits with the first and the second angle into one longer clip. Once the render is done, I'll check if that might work out. If it does, I'll hold off the second angle until the back view is also done. If it doesn't, I'll just release the second angle as it is.
