All the textures! And a sneaky reveal
Added 2023-10-23 15:15:33 +0000 UTCMy friends, the much requested tattoo reveal is here, although it’s nothing insane and quite nerdy (nope, it’s nothing philosophical, purely mathematical 😂).
Also, I almost cut off the tip of my finger when I was cutting the veneer so I had to take a two-day medical break because it kept bleeding a LOT.
In other news, I made the cobblestone road from styrofoam, and this time I also textured it with a rock used as a texture stamp.
Then I added VMS Smart Mud, glued the veneer, blended the edges (Smart Mud on the dirt, acrylic putty on the road, and Magic Sculpt on the rocks and cinderblocks in the creek), added the ground layer with new VMS diorama textures (finely ground brick and grey sand in the creek), and finally, static grass. Oh boy, what a huge surface to work with!
Now this will be an epic project to paint, although I should prep the figures as well! But a part of me wants to start painting the mill, so we’ll see what will come next 😁
