Mint condition!
Added 2022-11-24 20:05:56 +0000 UTCMy friends, here's the technical with pin washes, chipping, and rust effects. Just like with the VW Beetle, the weathering goes by pretty swiftly. One reason is definitely the small size of the model, the other might be its shape... those smooth surfaces and not so many intricate surface details are very good canvas for blending enamels!
Despite my initial intentions to keep it in rather good condition, reference images convinced me otherwise. Rust tones just look way too good on a faded blue car!
The pin wash was done with Ammo's dark brown wash for green vehicles, chipping was my usual Dark Rust from Vallejo with some oxide primer chips on the chassis done with Cavalry Brown and Basic Skintone, and rust tones were the usual light rust wash and streaking rust effects.
Up next is painting all the car details and highlighting them - the dashboard, locks on the hood, handbrake, seats, etc. Once that is done, I can paint the stowage with black brown and start shading!
