My friends, another diorama goes into the display case!
The resin water went super smooth this time, I used a few pictures of flowing rivers as reference, everything was good, until I decided to add some water foam using a dedicated AK gel. The foam turned out great around the bridge, but for some reason, I decided to add it over some waves! Bad idea, it looked horrible. Of course, there was no way of getting rid of it, so I had to improvise. You can clearly see those waves that were sprayed over with a mixture of Khaki Drab and clear varnish... oh well... we learn with every step, right? Way to degrade otherwise perfect finish with the last step!
The figure from Evolution is awesome, and just like the Alpine one in the turret, it was fun to paint. I did it in one afternoon while waiting for the resin and water gel to dry.
All that was left were a few finishing touches and corrections - painting some stones on the torn out clump of earth on the bridge, painting over a couple of bricks that melted from mineral spirit, and painting the sides black.
Now I need to go through 3+ hours of video footage and write a LONG script because there's a lot to talk about!
