Uh-oh

Well, I just prepared all the stuff I consider to be the most basic - including some things which are similar, but each might suit someone else, and it's a lot of stuff to talk about!

You left me lots of amazing suggestions in the previous post and I noted them down for further video ideas!

My original plan kinda crumbled because right after I saw this pile of tools on my desk, considering I want to talk about each one in detail, the video would be at least an hour long if I wanted to talk about this + the more advanced tools. Not to mention niche tools like foam cutter, or custom-made ones!

Dave came up with a wonderful idea - turning this into series. So what do you think about that? I'll make a video about essential/beginner friendly tools, see how it goes, and then do a follow up!

Great video! We all know this hobby can be a bottomless pit financially. The beauty section of most department stores can be very useful. You can generally find various sanding sticks and files relatively inexpensively there. One of my favourite finds at Kmart (I'm in Australia) was cuticle nippers, these I find excellent for cutting parts from sprues since the cutting edge is flush to one side you get very little to clean up after each cut. I also find some of the nail polishes handy for different coloured lenses and the like.

You can even do a series on “helpful tips and tricks” and include tools in it. Like your making rivets using an eraser, “pewter foil,” and a drill bit (btw I think we call pewter foil lead foil in the US? I could be wrong)
