Another post about new goodies 😁
First and foremost, I bought a Canon EOS M50 which I'll be using instead of the old Nikon D5100. It can film in 4K, has some basic stabilization, also shoots at 50fps in 1080p, has amazing autofocus since it has no mirror, the white balance can be dialled perfectly, and the colors are amazing. I was able to buy it in this "vlogger kit" package with Rode mic, sd card and gorilla pod, so we might have more vlogs and podcasts in the future 😊😊Now I'm just waiting for a dummy battery to arrive so I can plug it directly into the grid without needing to charge it every 30 minutes.
Also, BMR-3M is here! It has a fat box stacked with sprues, but if I build it out of the box, the build should be relatively swift. Coincidentally I found an unused set of T-80 Friul tracks in my stash, so I'll put them to good use.
Also also, while ordering some flesh colors for Hans I bought a bunch of fine Vallejo brushes and managed to find the exact same one I've been using for years as my chipping brush 😊
And lastly, I also bought new resin for the 3D printer. Finally a good color where you can actually see what you printed. My advice as a 3D printing virgin: avoid white and clear resin, go for grey, aqua blue or skin color. And because I have new resin, I modelled spent 128mm PaK shells for the Jagdtiger. These will be used in the diorama since the cat is gonna be parked in a firing position. Luckily enough this type of ammo seems to have been made out of steel and painted in a dull green color. Fantastic discovery because I don't have proper brass paints and a worn green ammo casings are gonna look quite interesting!
So yeah, that's about it 😁
