Cheeps & rust

My friends, this is gonna take some time! But that was pretty much expected wasn't it ๐Ÿ˜ Even more because I decided to merge this step with detail painting into one video... as there wouldn't be anything interesting to say compared to the detail painting video I did on the Tiger. It's not gonna be time efficient in terms of upload schedule, but I think it'll be better this way. At least it's a good motivation to work more efficiently!

And most importantly, I think, is that it made me realize something.... the next subject should be a modern, and I mean really modern vehicle with little to no chipping! BMR-3M anyone? ๐Ÿ˜‹

Ammo paints helped me to learn how to paint small chips because their consistency is really good straight from the bottle ๐Ÿ˜Š But they're not as opaque and brush-friendly as Vallejo when thinned the same way, so it's been (and probably always will be) Vallejo paints for me ๐Ÿ˜Š Tamiya paints are totally unsuitable for this task, and AK 3rd Gen are in my opinion just trying to reinvent the wheel.

Maybe some question here uncle nightshift. What are your favorite brands of colors for all your detailed painting and chipping work? Basic and cheap Vallejo Model Color? 3rd Generation Acrylics from AK? Ammo Mig? Or do you also use Tamiya XF for such work? Would be interesting to know what you are using. Thank you.

Thanks Eric, it'll take some time but fingers crossed it'll be worth the effort ๐Ÿ˜

Night Shift

All those details in the build are starting to pay off uncle. Keep it coming ๐Ÿ‘
