Alright, I think there's nothing more to add and the model is now totally ready for dust and mud. ๐
So the remaining stuff I did today was painting the last wooden crate (here I actually swapped the paint order, so I started with Iraqui sand, then Old wood and finished it with dark brown oil paint), and damn, even though the real US boxes look like they were treated with linseed oil, it wasn't my intention on the first two, but this one somehow ended up looking exactly like that ๐
Then of course all the straps on the stowage and tools, some weld chipping and I also chipped the wooden beam at the front. Also I was very disturbed by some of the oversized chips on the turret, so I scraped them off with a toothpick, much better now ๐
So, it's time to wrap all of it up into a video and we'll then continue with some dust ๐
And because I'm serious about progressing with my stowage painting misadventures using acrylic paints, I just ordered myself a pretty neat looking wet palette, if anyone would be interested, it's worth checking out:
