Late update!
Added 2020-05-27 10:28:37 +0000 UTCOh my, I'm running a bit late... this is progress from yesterday 😊 + some reference pictures which I used as "loose inspiration", just to show that yeah, this was an actual thing 😉
I textured the concrete with Tamiya putty, this is probably the most textured texture I've done so far 🤣 I kept the sides smoother though, because I think these were cast using wooden planks or pieces of sheet metal.
Also glued every detail in place, added some welds, drilled out the drainage holes around the turret ring armor... so now I can start adding the finer details. Don't know why, but I'm finding this approach more and more enjoyable - glue down everything first, and then add all the fine details.
So that's what I'll be doing today! The stowage set still didn't arrive though 😫 What do now??

They even added concrete on Jumbos. Another interesting mod is pieces of chicken wire welded on the sides to hold foliage.

2020-05-28 01:31:39 +0000 UTCThe two other tanks appear to be a M4A3 105mm, and an M4A3 .76mm (W), both with the VVSS suspension. Pretty interesting mods they made on these vehicles in the field, sandbags, concrete, spare tracks, etc.!
