There he is! Sherman got a little chonky today.
It's frankly surprising how long the entire process took! I remember trying to build this same subject many years ago from a Hobby Boss Easy 8 and I just slapped a ton of epoxy putty on the hull, carved it into shape with a hobby blade and called it a day after like 2 hours. Needless to say, I never finished it.
Because of that, I have very little amount of Magic Sculpt left and therefore I had to take a more sparing approach, so I built most of the volume with scrap styrene.
You can see the entire process on these pictures (in reverse order of course). The partially applied concrete in the middle pics is oddly satisfying to look at π
So, tomorrow will be about detailing the upper hull... and I'll be printing some stowage again. I'll also try making a 3D model of a 50 cal ammo box.
