Aqualine dust doing its job 😁Now the tank is properly dirty!
Well, at least the hull. The thing is, today we had a birthday party so I only managed to work on the model in the evening. I was properly tired towards the end of the session so I decided to leave the turret for tomorrow. I might use some dust colored oil paint as well, because Aqualine isn't the easiest thing to control on satin and complex surfaces!
On the other hand, I think the model won't need any extra earth tones. Looking at ref pictures, this is how most tanks in Syria look like when operating in dry and urban environment. Well there will be the obligatory fuel, grime and exhaust leaks, but other than that, I think we'll be able to call it done! What are your thoughts? 🤔
Also, I hope you're enjoying the weekend! I'm going to buy a second hand "spare" fatbike tomorrow so I can enjoy the outdoors until I get my main bike back, so I'll be totally taking it for a spin during the day. Maybe I'll soak up some extra real life inspiration for those dust effects 😊
