Hey guys, so today was kinda funny.

I painted the exhausts the usual way (light grey base coat, dark brown chipping, remnants of dark yellow, then several rust washes and speckling) and didn't like the result as it seemed too vivid to me.

So I repainted them, following a few pics of KT exhausts, trying to make the rust effect more subdued, and ended up with something I like even less 🤦‍♂️What sucks is that the most interesting part is hidden behind the armored covers. Of course, they're not truly done until they have dust and smoke effects applied to them, but I always add dust to these details along with the entire model so the effects don't look out of place. That being said, I'm sure they'll look fine in the end, but I wouldn't be surprised if I decided to strip them tomorrow and paint them all over again for the 3rd time.

And this obviously means there won't be a video about Tiger exhausts... they'll just be in a short segment at the end of the tracks video... or something.....

Oh, this model just keeps on giving!
