Well, here we go... I'd say the earth tones are pretty much finished. While applying them on the rear portion of the tank I had to constantly look at the photos of the unpainted, but assembled model so I could see where the mud would fly up from the moving tracks.
I tried to keep it rather subtle considering how far they extend from under the fenders. It's kind of funny calling this "subtle" 😄 but once you start somewhere, the rest of the model should look the same.
This was all done with the same Loose Ground from Ammo. First painted with a brush, then blended with thinner, then added a bit more but extremely diluted, almost like a dirty thinner. The technique is actually pretty relaxing once you overcome that initial doubt when you're like "oh man I don't wanna ruin all of this".
I think it might need a few tiny corrections tomorrow, but nonetheless it's again time to put the video together.
