This is actually getting really frustrating

I'm sorry for not uploading the other day. I didn't feel very well but today I got a bunch of stuff done, although it's not all done yet as you can see.

A little piece of wisdom from me... and I can tell this to you first hand with this model... guys, if you can, AVOID GLUING TRACKS AND WHEELS TO YOUR TANKS AT ALL COSTS. I mean, the whole point of this video will be that yeah, it can be done, but it's just more and more frustrating that it's not even fun anymore. You're just so limited by all of those complex details being held in place... painting wheels, tracks and lower hulls is usually pretty innocent fun because it's just about splattering numerous paints on top of each other and the results are almost guaranteed to be great... but this is just... yeah, it's just not fun.

I'll have to finish all the polished metal surfaces tomorrow. Those are usually the least fun because the job is so monotonous. But hey, I'll spend most of the day in a bikepark, so at least I'll get to it with high spirits lol.

Honestly, I can't wait to start working on the next model with metal workable tracks.

it'll be over, soon!

Night Shift

These are just phone shots from the bench. The lighting is the same as in the videos, so 2 ikea lamps and a large piece of paper as a background. I just brighten them a bit in the mac photo app and clean up the background in photoshop (there are usually paint bottles in the background and other stuff lol)

Night Shift

I can’t even think about gluing tracks on before paint! The struggle is real.

How do you take such professional photos? What do you use for backdrop/lighting?
