I'm a huge fan of muscle mommies, so I'd always vote for that. As for cartoon mommies, Aunt Cass from BH6 would look amazing, as would Elastagirl and Dr. Ann Possible. Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet could be hot too, though she's not exactly a mom. It could also be fun doing a classic Disney-style mom, like Sarah Hawkins from TP or Annie Hughes from Iron Giant.
