WHY TAG... WHYYYYY?!
Added 2022-10-20 10:22:03 +0000 UTCOk! This was a very off the cuff video! I had finished filming my Patek video on the new releases... But really... The F1 Mario Kart was still stuck in my head and I JUST NEEDED TO TALK ABOUT IT! Especially after just doing a TAG Heuer Video a few weeks ago.....
I just have this stupid optimism in TAG. I really believe they have all the winning ingredients, but they just refuse to follow the dang recipe! I have conflicting thoughts on these. I think the concept is there - Mario & Mario Kart have sooo much to work with! I just feel a bit.... like..... this could have been done better lol. But it seems to be indicative of where TAG is going. I just want TH to live up to its full potential!!! :'(
Anyways! Here's all of my thoughts and feelings on the new F1 X Mario Kart chronographs. I'd love to hear what you guys think of these new LEs.

I'm going to show these two watches to my 19 year old son - he's a Mario Cart fan. Maybe he's the target audience for them - they are definitely not my cup of tea!

But I like that they are trying - but to me it looks like something out of a Kinder Surprise :) and something Timex or Casio could have done - and much better

And the people who will rush out and pay crazy prices are feigning for the next big hit on the pipe too. On the other hand, I am glad watches like this exist, because we live in world were there is such a variety of watches, that no matter what you are into, someone will eventually make a watch for you. Long Live the Cult(s)!!
