Apologies for not posting this here and giving you a preview. I was busy shooting footage at the Shell "Make The Future" event when I uploaded.
I figured I should give you all an update on what's happening on my end in a bullet point format, because my brain hurts from stress and writing is difficult.
- Mike Ridolfi (From Mobox Graphics: https://goo.gl/x7dFgK ) did most of the animations for this video. I could not have possibly finished this video in 2 weeks without his help. Right now that's where all of your pledges are going. He's awesome and I hope to continue entrusting him with more responsibilities when I can afford it.
- I am looking to expand Real Engineering over the next year into a larger production studio. Something akin to Kurzgesagt's team: http://kurzgesagt.org/about. It's possible to grow too fast and lose all mobility, so this will be done very methodically. Rome wasn't built in a day. I'm taking the first step towards this by setting up as a limited company in Ireland.
- The Showmakers Podcast is going well. We are posting a bit sporadically at the moment, because everyone involved has wild schedules that change constantly. Next episode is with Jake Roper from VSauce 3 and Beme.
- I will be at Vidcon US with Wendover Production, Real Life Lore and Second Thought. If any of you are planning to go be sure to let me know. Had a great time meeting people at Vidcon EU.
