Near-future planning

Hi, all my patrons!

Before I begin, the compressed file attached below is the original of the photographs taken from Hobby fair(This is YouTube link).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These days, I'm living in thought rather than working. For your enjoyment (painting or a simple display) I'm thinking about what to make and how to make it.

The first time I started this job was the recommendation of BK from Tri-fin studio, and I think it was better than when I worked for a game company.

It was fun to make it my way when I started, and now it's pretty fun to study the topic of production.

The downside is that there is no cold criticism because I work alone, it makes me grow up slowly. And I do everything by myself, there are more things to worry about outside of works.

My creativity has almost disappeared since I suffered from depression last spring. In the meantime, my form has dropped a lot. It's time to regroup my mental and get back on my feet.

- I will not to make in a smaller size than now.

In the last post, I deform my model's to a small size, I tried to make my model's face, wrists, and ankles bigger and thicker for the easy paint but it came out very awkward. I realized again that sculpt a character with a deformed proportion is something I'm not good at.

Making character like the Anime figure or Warhammer 40k miniature, which is 32mm to 40mm, is something I can't do well in. I'd rather put more effort and focus on the production.

- I'm planning to change the bust of the completed work.

After coming back from the Hobby Fair, I saw a lot of miniature painting, and I met quite a few people who only worked on the bust. This work will be carried out when I have time to increase sales.

- Making money beside digital sales and patronage.

beside sales and your patronage, for the purpose of paying the rental fee. I will plan to do private tutoring and physical sales in Korea. Both are time consuming, but I don't think it will affect the schedule much in the future because it only takes a certain amount of time like a part-time job.

Now I have to stop thinking and get back to work.

I plan to make a simple naked body sculpting, not a small size deforming.

In the next posting, I will upload the work process and talk about the production a little more.

Thank you always for your support and have a wonderful day!😘

About the smaller scale not much has to be deformed. I would argue that it can be done without anything being deformed. Guns have to be bigger. There should be a minimal thickness of stuff so the proportions can stay the same if the items are not to tiny and fingers are holding things or being clenched in fists or at least not spread out. The style will look different but the only issue is not to break to easily and print in full. When I tried printing your gunslinger girl with a pistol and a rifle everything looked fine beside the guns being too fragile (and stuff I failed at properly supporting failing). Grafitti girl and Yurei migh print well in 30mm without any additional effort. I will try and let you know if it works (unfortunately I'm able to print only during the weekends if I manage to find time to support stuff by myself).
