2022/06/13 - Maid WIP. & what's going on to me

Hi, all my patrons!

'Maid' is working in progress.

When I work, I combine the references. I felt like awkward(or maybe unique?) maid clothes are coming out. It's not a classic maid outfit, and also it's not a French maid outfit. It will be revised until I like it while continuing to work it.

I'd like to update you on Nutshell Atelier.

- First of all, I started making the logo. Originally, I was trying to make it, but I wanted to make a cool logo even if I paid for it due to quality issues. It will be used in many ways. I'll reveal it as soon as it's done.

- I am preparing in advance for faster production.

My laziness has often left me unprepared for the next work. And I've wasted a day or two looking for references. And there were times when you presented a piece that was out of line with the subject that you chose. In order to reduce this trial and error in line, we are making an idea sheet every two days and storing it. Those two screenshots will be used for the next vote, the mafia and the magician. It will be used in future voting, so I would appreciate it if you could suggest any topic you would like me to make at any time. I'll prepare in advance so that I can get closer to the work you want.

- I'm going to try test printing in June.

I've been in this industry for over a year, but I haven't printed yet. I'm just a modeler. I want to run the printer in the office and look at the output to make up for the poor quality. Furthermore, I would like to start selling in Korea.

- a worry about sales

My 60 to 70 percent income comes through this Patreon. Since it is not the consumption season, I am looking forward to the second half of this year, but I am thinking about various things for financial stability. I'll report more about this later.

It's starting to get really hot. Take care of your health, everyone!😊

Thank you always for your support and have a wonderful day!😘

If you can't open a window, I've had success printing inside a "grow tent" with a big carbon filtration system. You can run multiple printers simultaneously inside a small tent and you'll never smell it. The setup cost about $200 in that states, but I don't know if you can get those kinds of tents where you are.

Thank you for your opinion! Unfortunately, my work doesn't feel commercial and quality by my standards yet.πŸ€” I want to see and compare the works of many people and provide you with higher quality things that you need the most. I agree with your opinion. I also believe that I should enter the 32mm miniature market. However, my work has realistic proportion, so I think the prints will be limited. Maybe I should make my models' face, hands and feet bigger, and make most of the parts thicker. I think the proposal will change from 7-8 heads to 5-6 heads. I keep this in mind. Thank you for your great opinion! I'll think about it more seriously later and talk about it later!

Thank you very much for your advice. I am currently purchasing various safety equipment. As you said, it is a small office, so I am very concerned about safety equipment such as air purifiers, air circulation pumps, masks, and gloves. etc. I'm going to operate it except when I'm working on sculpting. (I will start when I get off work and turn it off when I get to work.) As soon as I'm ready, I'll upload pictures.😊

I kindly disagree. Your quality is not poor. Your sculpts are amazing. When it comes to financial stability from what I learned over last 2 years is that there is significantly higher market for miniatures people are able to use in games (warhammer proxies and miniatures usable in D&D games seem to be the hottest). I might be wrong but I strongly believe making versions of your miniature that would print well in ~32mm scale could expand your reach.

You should be aware, that Resin and its fumes are toxic. And Resin-printing is/can be a real messy thing to do. Unless your office is really large, you should probably re-consider about setting up a printer in a room where you spent hours over hours, or at least make sure you put it in a far away corner and filter air properly.
